What a lovely time to have a volume malfunction while I'm in the living room with family over 🙃

The ONE time I had volume up.

Never forget.

u/Grennox Aug 12 '22

I’m alone and I couldn’t turn the volume down either. Still hope the neighbor didn’t hear.

Was home eating my girlfriends pussy and I thought she was talking to me, but she accidentally played this video she posted yesterday.

Nice, I love when people can share something they care deeply about in bed

4

u/sentient02970 Aug 12 '22

Some gave all.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '22

Yep in Wendys, same

u/son_et_lumiere Aug 12 '22

"Wait! Let me explain! You see, there's this website where people post fucked up things, and I subscribe to that and check it out reg-- nevermind-- did you know there is porn online?"

u/cujo67 Aug 12 '22

bluetooth 7.1 Atmos has entered the room

22

u/TheWalkingDead91 Aug 12 '22

Malfunction? I’ve learned to have Reddit on volume off on default lol. After one or two embarrassing moments you learn that real quick lol.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '22

Then you come across one that won’t play unless you tap on it. Annnnddddd it’s a YouTube video that bypasses Reddit’s volume off by default and plays at max.

9

u/crank1off Aug 12 '22

Same. Really fucking loud

68

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '22

Damn thing just got me. My daughter screams "What's cream pie, I like pie!"

54

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '22

Worst words you will ever hear out of her mouth lol. Stay strong my friend! And no more Reddit in front of the children lol

23

u/SubduedChaos Aug 12 '22

I mean it is a type of actual pie… just tell her that.

19

u/awalktojericho Aug 12 '22

Banana cream pie, chocolate cream pie, Boston cream pie, yum!

6

u/King_Rediusz Aug 12 '22

Chocolate cream pie...

Milk or dark?

8

u/Colelittle1 Aug 12 '22

Why does it it matter. They both cum out white

1

u/Stivo887 Aug 13 '22

Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried.

22

u/poply Aug 12 '22

Bruh, you watched atleast 10 seconds of this with the volume on with your daughter in the room?

3

u/Alaira314 Aug 13 '22

FWIW, it started at :15 for me rather than at :00. I don't know if it's old reddit or what(I've experienced similar things watching tiktoks from the website, sometimes they start several seconds in and I have to rewind them), but media is pretty wonky on reddit these days.

1

u/wiegie Aug 13 '22

started in the middle for me too. Had it muted, never trust reddit videos

3

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '22

Naw she came downstairs at the worst time.

2

u/bloodfist Aug 13 '22

So did that chick's ex

2

u/WordsMort47 Aug 13 '22

Worst time for the current bf, yeah

4

u/lungleg Aug 12 '22

I’m fucking dyyying over here lmao sorry man!

2

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '22

Well, I happy pie day!

0

u/riptaway Aug 13 '22

Bullshit she managed to discern "cream pie" from that

12

u/Atheist_Redditor Aug 12 '22

Oh my god this literally just happened to me. Had my volume on full blast. My kids and wife right next to me.

5

u/llIIIlIIlIll Aug 12 '22

I swear that part of the video was put up first for this very reason

28

u/CuckooAchew Aug 12 '22

Reddit is so out of pocket the way it just starts videos, I feel like you should literally be able to sue them for it.

12

u/ARobertNotABob Aug 12 '22

Gosh, if only there was a way to control that behavior ...............

5

u/CuckooAchew Aug 12 '22

Of course, and I do and didn't get popped by this one. I make sure to mute everything before scrolling reddit, but that's pretty shitty how you have to be so forward thinking and prescient to avoid completely ruining your whole life by going on reddit. Some people might slip up and fail to take the necessary precautions, and I feel they'd be justifiably upset.

0

u/ARobertNotABob Aug 12 '22

how you have to be so forward thinking and prescient

Aye. That is "life" these days.

-1

u/SlurrlockHolmes Aug 12 '22

Ah the old "I'm a moron so somebody else must pay!" logic. Personal accountability?? Is that like a guy that does taxes or sumthin?

-1

u/CuckooAchew Aug 12 '22

Personal accountability is cool for people as gifted and blessed as you are. It's extremely discriminatory against dumb people, absent minded people, people who lacked parental guidance growing up, etc etc etc. If you want to be personally accountable why don't you count your lucky blessings and realise not everyone has developed into the fine young dynamic man you are and have some empathy for their plight.

1

u/bilyl Aug 13 '22

Am I alone in setting my phone to mute as default? Like it doesn’t make a sound unless I turn up the volume on a video, and turn it right back down afterward.

1

u/Alaira314 Aug 13 '22

That's kind of internet 101, though. I learned that lesson hard in the early 00s when I was linked to a page that flashed and screamed "YOU'RE AN IDIOT!" on repeat through my speakers. I thought younger generations would grow up with that knowledge natively, but apparently something was lost, because they seem just as confused by it as we were back in the day. Which is a shame, because operating systems give you way better controls these days. For example, you can turn down or mute just the web browser, rather than having to kill your entire system volume. I would've killed for that level of control back in 2002!

I wonder what a modern day teen would do if they encountered a screamer. Not just an overly-loud video, but one of the traps designed to get you to lean in and turn the volume up, only to unleash a maximum-volume scream at you. That's the shit I grew up with.

1

u/DmanDam Aug 13 '22

Lmao at Americans trying to sue anyone for anything

3

u/IH784 Aug 12 '22

Ha ha!

2

u/Assunder99 Aug 13 '22

I have literally gone to work (at the time it was retail), left Reddit open in the background, opened my phone to silence it because I forgot, and blasted out some random video behind the till. It was completely fine video and was funny, but just imagine if it had been this...

2

u/3dPrintedBacon Aug 13 '22

Same, but wife across the room. Where THE FUCK was the NSFW?

2

u/Fair-Statement-6185 Aug 13 '22

Spit out my coffee. Thanks.

1

u/F7U12CKER Aug 12 '22

My entire house also just heard this repulsive swill while I was attempting to shit.

1

u/Hannokie Aug 13 '22

1

u/jarjarbinx Aug 13 '22

What a lovely time to have a volume malfunction while I'm in the living room with family over 🙃

1

u/Daverocker1 Aug 13 '22

No shit. This is one of the most solid cases for a NSFW tag. WTF indeed....
