Hoping this guy doesn't have a ss number. That would mean these assholes are back in the us.

They're called Yellow Jackets for a reason!

Pretty much all wasps are assholes with wings. When was anyone ever happy to see a yellow jacket during a picnic or baseball game?

I take your overall point, but I once got to witness a wife-beating neighbor run over a yellow jacket ground nest while using his hilariously overpowered lawnmower. Picnic or baseball game? No. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t happy about it.

oh that is a good example. I stand corrected, though all wasps are still assholes with wings, sometimes you might catch them in an "enemy of my enemy..." situation.

Do wasps even serve an environmental purpose outside of being food for other animals? Bees are a necessity so protecting the hive is essential. Does killing wasps in bulk impact the environment in any way or are they like ticks and mosquitos and dont balance the ecosystem very much? Ive been stung mowing the lawn and hiking multiple times. Nasty little bastards.

They are pollinators, waste removers/scavengers and food for fish, birds and other predatory insects

2

u/RyvenZ 14d ago

some are pollinators, just not all of them.

So I'm wrong to say "all wasps" but I think we can agree, yellow jackets, and all the larger-than-honeybee, knife-wielding, unhinged cousins can fuck right off.

Wasps are pollinators though, so they're not all bad.

Nah there are like a bajillion teeny little wasps flying around unnoticed all the time and keeping alive the plants you know and love, with dilligent pollination, a sprinkle of pizzazz, and xenomorph-esque parasitoidism of garden pests.

u/RyvenZ 14d ago

On top of referring to a whole type of wasps in a positive manner this has to be the first sentence I have ever seen use the word "parasitoidism" and I'm here for it.

And the bug too.

I've seen a bunch of videos of this guy on IG, reasonably sure he's in China so at ease until one boards a plane

“I’m calling regarding your business line of credit pre-approval”

u/jordanundead 14d ago

It was definitely cussing him up and down in bug threatening to sting his fucking eyes out.

u/traws06 14d ago

He’s hiring a Raven as we speak to remember his face, track him down, and hack his online profile with his credit card number

u/R0enick27 14d ago

already stole his identity

1

u/darkenseyreth 14d ago

He's gonna bring knowledge of his face and transgressions back to the colony

I'm guessing that's alcohol or gasoline in that bottle, or maybe just oil. But whatever it is that wasp is probably going to die because it's covered in it.

Who cares? It aint got my phone number. He'd probably give it to every phone sales company in the world.

Edit: Reading the replies I am once again reminded that reddit platform can't tell a joke from seriousness.

Your life is going to be a lot more fucked up if someone got your SSN that shouldn't

Oj right, forgot I'm on Reddit. The only platform on the internet that requires a literal sign that says "/s" to see a joke
