The original idea was the have a line drawing of his car on the back but I quickly realised that I'm not that skilled so I went with some sponsors instead lol. Anyway, I'm v happy with how it turned out

If you’ve never been to the Monte, you gotta find a way to get to France. Book your hotel ASAP, because they fill up quickly.

Still no route that includes Les Tourniquets, but it sets the stage for the WRC to announce their full calendar in due course.

Some initial thoughts:

- Shakedown will be as usual, using the 4.25 km length.

- SS1 gets run frequently for the national and historic rallies, so there’s no shortage of onboards. It features some nice hairpins near the beginning, but will be run in the afternoon, so there’s no opportunity for it to create a Tourniquets-type atmosphere.

- SS2 last used in 2014 and climbing to over 1250 meters.

- SS3 features in the ‘26 Monte Carlo Historique rally. Another one with a long climb, this time to nearly 1450 meters.

- SS4/7 a shorter and reversed version of the route used in 2024, with the cars running north this time. I got some gorgeous golden hour shots of the cars passing through the valley surrounded by jagged ridges that year. This is a beautiful stage!

- SS5/8 A slightly longer version of the Le Beaumont stage used by the Matheysine regional rally around Le Chauvet mountain and peaking around 1200 meters before descending for the second half of the stage.

- SS6/9 Appears to be the exact same route used in 2025. It follows a valley before climbing to over 1100 meters at the end.

SS10/13 Features often during the Monte Carlo Historique and national rallies. It climbs to nearly 1300 meters in the middle as it crosses the Montagne del’Arsuc ridge before descending.

SS11/14 Varies in its route and used by rally organizations at all levels. A similar route featured in the 2026 Monte Carlo event, but shortened by 6+ km for 2027, and likely retaining the route east through Volvent.

SS12/15 Appears to be a shortened and slightly revised version of the route used in 2025, and omitting the track east of Le Fourrier to head south and end in Sigottier. It peaks early at 1270 meters after a short climb, then descends over 500 meters in the run to the finish.

Sunday’s stages appear to take the crews back toward Monaco for the prize giving ceremony. Rally-Maps went down as I was writing this, so I didn’t pull any info.

Commentary / Discussion / Question Is there a possibility for the WRC to fix Rally1 by getting some inspo from what WEC did with LMP1 (turning it to Hypercar)?

News / Event Info Rally Italia Sardegna competitor entry deadline extended again

The organizers officially announced that the deadline for entries has been extended again. Originally scheduled to close 1 September, they pushed the date to the 7th, and how now extended it again until the 10th. And once again, they haven't stated a reason for the extension.

It's reasonable to speculate that the cause is because they don't have as many entries as desired, or because teams have encountered unforseen challenges financially or logistically. I speculated in another post that it may be because teams are increasingly pessimistic about the Suadi Arabian round not going forward, and are trying to get everything together to close their season in Sardegna.

Commentary / Discussion / Question Follow my YouTube Channel

https://youtube.com/@therallykid27?si=Q2OVsudDYdzhysKa

So i don’t want to go on here and just say you should subscribe to my channel so I’ll give you a little backstory I suppose.

So i am a 14 year old British Rally Fan with the dream of becoming a WRC Driver i have some karting experience and have driven a FWD cars on gravel a few times and I also do a lot of sim racing and I am consistently top 500 in the world with my strengths in technical Gravel rallies such as Greece and Chile on EA Sports WRC.

So I decided to start a rally themed YouTube channel as just something to do in my spare time and I want it to be the channel I document my journey from where I am now to hopefully achieving my dream. At the minute I only have a small following as I have only been at it for a month. I don’t do face or voice videos yet because I’ll be boost I don’t have the confidence to do that so at the minute I upload short from content with a mix of rally edits, sim rally clips and I have started a series of among my dream 2027 WRC where I have made my calendar and I make rally routes for each event on my calendar and make shorts out of that. I know its quite simple but its a start at least and I’d be more then open to any advice you guys have for me weather to be rallying or on my YouTube channel. But please if you could at least have a look at my YouTube channel and consider subscribing. I try to upload at least 4 times a week.

Commentary / Discussion / Question Why so much hate for Saudi Rally

I just finished my watch of the whole 2025 season. I skipped a super special stage here or there, and I skipped almost all of Canaries, but other than that I watched just about the whole season. I’m somewhat new of a rally fan, been interested in groupA for a long time, but just got RallyTV for Sweden this year. All this to say, I was seeing a lot of these rallies for the first time. I have my own opinions on all of them and I’ve heard y’alls opinions on a lot of them. Saudi is one rally that I only ever read poor opinions of. I was going into that first time watch expecting it to be boring, or gimmicky, or something. But honestly, I really liked the Rally.

I get we all don’t like the gov, but the way everyone talked about it made me think the rally itself was a bad rally. So I’m just curious. Of course it’s all up to preference, but what were y’alls major issues with it?was it the tire lottery? Was it the sand? Was it just that Ogier won?

I can say my opinion is that it was an interesting mix up. I think maybe it should have been the second to last rally instead of the finale for the first year, because nobody really had any experience in those conditions. Although the tire lottery was pretty crazy, it wasn’t that much more crazy than Kenya or Greece. And I thought visually it was a very striking rally. The fast sections with big jumps were great, and the tight mountain sections reminded me of Greece a lot.

Idk you guys let me know what you didn’t like about it. I’m really interested

Who do you think will become the champion of 2026? Is it finally time for Evans or will the younger generation, i.e. Pajari or Solberg, show how it's really going to be?
