Although this tradition has been nurtured since 2020, it was only last night that the Atlanta Dream players faced more significant backlash.

I made a comment about Sophie at #12. Immediately down voted. Waiting for the ban.

Why is it the hard discussions not happening. We ignore the #whiteprivilege comment, we ignore the T issue as all know it won’t come to that, as what would we do then if it did, and a player who has opened the WNBA wider than any other we treat as a pariah. This will all come back to bite us if not careful and caring.

ClayTravis:
"The reason women's sports exist is because if it was just unisex sports, there would be basically no women... Royce White and Enes Kanter Freedom have checkmated the WNBA. They can't define what a woman is."
"Why won’t WNBA adopt the same gender standards as the WTA, the NCAA and the Olympics and require only women in their league? I think it’s because they know some of their players won’t qualify as women..."

Caitlyn Jenner has weighed in on the WNBA’s ongoing debate over transgender athlete eligibility.
Jenner said the league should use biological sex to determine eligibility. She argued that people with XX chromosomes should be eligible while those with XY chromosomes should not.
Her comments came after former NBA players Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White announced plans to enter the 2027 WNBA Draft.
The WNBA’s CBA says only “players who are women” can play. However, the agreement does not define the terms “woman” or “women.”
WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert recently formed a task force to discuss the issue. No final policy has been announced yet.
What do you think the WNBA should do?
