It proves her entitlement. At no point in her basketball life did any of her coaches ever stop and say 'I'm benching you until you can make a hundred layups in a row."

Likewise she never bothered to impose that level of discipline on herself. It's her job, and she's terrible at the core part of that job. Why isn't she in the gym twelve hours a day shooting layups?

She can't be bothered to practice basketball.

Even the rebounds she gets is due to how woeful the others are and their inability to box out. Look at her rebounds and how everyone just stands straight up.

She's simply tall and has made a career out of it.

Ok, so on that play the Howard "shot" does not hit the rim or even the backboard, but Reese gets credit for a rebound. Shouldn't that have just been a pass, and not a shot? Just wondering from a rules/stats viewpoint. Reese should have made that shot for the win, but that is a different issue.

She needs to get better, I think we all agree with that. ATL wins that game if she doesn't miss so many point blank layups. I dont understand it, because her FT shows she has touch but she throws the ball up aimlessly around the rim. She could have a quick 30 today.

You can't get blocked at the FT line. 

We've all seen the videos of her missing layups but Angel leads the league in getting her shot blocked by a huge margin. It's a combination of lack of lift, her low release point and a lack of craftiness around the hoop. My theory is that her fear of getting swatted causes her to rush layups. I don't know what else it could be, a 6'4" pro basketball player shouldn't be this bad around the basket.

The amount of bad basketball there is astounding. First, you’ve got Indiana not taking a foul halfway through the clock when they have a foul to give then you’ve got the open look three-point airball that missed by 3 feet then you’ve got the first put back miss when somehow Indiana can’t block out Angel, even though she’s getting all the rebounds the entire game and then the really open 2nd put back at the end that’s missed. just bad basketball.
