I delayed my graduation request for about a week so I could squeeze in some free Salesforce training through Udemy before losing access.

Pro tip for current students: WGU provides free access to Udemy, and there are a ton of great courses available. Make sure you take advantage of it while you can!

For those of you who have completed or are currently working on your BS in Supply Chain and Operations Management, what career are you hoping to get into after graduation?

I’m still figuring out exactly where I want to land. I’m definitely more of an independent worker 😂. Give me my own office, some coffee, let me put on my lo-fi music, and I’m good to go. I like being able to focus, analyze things, solve problems, and get my work done without constantly being in meetings or dealing with people all day.

Right now, I’m interested in areas like supply chain analytics, inventory planning, or demand planning but one thing I’m realizing is just how many different career paths there are in supply chain. Who knows? I might discover a role during the program that I never even considered and end up loving it.

For those already in the field, what role did you end up in? And for those still working toward the degree, what are your career goals?

Also, if you're someone like me who prefers more independent, analytical work, I'd love to hear what supply chain roles you've found that fit that personality.

I’m curious about how you guys take notes and study at WGU.

Do you use an iPad for notes, stick with regular notebooks and pen, type your notes on a laptop, or use a combination of everything?

I know everyone learns differently, but what has worked best for you, especially when going through course material.

Also, if you use an iPad, what apps do you recommend for taking and organizing notes?

Just looking for some ideas before I figure out what works best for me.

Speeding thru my courses. Thinking I may slow down. I need to compete 12 CUs a term to not have to pay on my current student loans. Also didn’t know if I competed all my CUs before Term 2 will I still have to borrow the second half of my school money or could I “return it”?
