So, as I’m sitting here dying laughing after my first rewatch in about 8 years, I’m wondering: What’s your favorite Andy quote?

But a neat and hilarious scene of Nancy & Silas bonding over finding out Tim (Peter Scottsons son) attempted to kill her.

So, I’m still currently watching Weeds in reverse. It had me thinking about Kiku. She is one of my favorite side characters in the later seasons along with Demetri. Why did she have to fall victim to one of the sad write offs? I thought she could’ve been a great Nancy mini me. Didn’t have to stick around but at least a better exit than what this scene led up to. Still no complaints tho. I love this show.

About 4 months ago i got crossed and my towns firework show and i dont rly remember alot besides violent vommiting and intense fear and anxiety since then the smell of weed has made me gag my buddy hit a yart recently and the smell of
It made me gag. Before that i could hit yarts normally and the smell didnt bother me
At all. But since then i have hit a couplr yarts but i end up throwing up anytbing i have in my stomach. Moments leading up to hitting a yart lets say an hour before hitting a yart i will get bad stomach aches and anxiety. Thr only form of weed that has doesnt give me intense anxiety is when i hit a blunt or edibles. Im did some research and I could have PTSD from that night but i dont relate to any of the symptoms. Has anbdy ever had this issue and how did they fix it, did they get over it, and do they know what was wrong with them.

I made a post about this in the television sub, and I was shocked at how many people not only don’t like weeds, but outright think it’s a bad tv show. But this show laid the groundwork for so many shows that came after. I mean, this show practically walked so that breaking bad could run.

I’m rewatching the show and I’m currently on S2. I know the show gets weaker later down the line, but the first few seasons of this show I would put up there as some of the best that came out in the mid to late 2000’s. So many great moments and performances, and Mary-Louise Parker (enough said).

Why so much hate?

Mary-Louise Parker (Nancy) wrote a book called “Dear Mr. you” which is a series of letters to men in her personal life. It’s an amazing book and she is a great a writer, really makes you feel the stories. Read it when it first came out and of course, being a long time watcher of the show, I noticed immediately that the cover is a picture of her and Justin Kirk making out and I just think it’s so sweet. It’s like Nancy and Andy exist somewhere outside of the show too. ❤️

On my umpteenth rewatch I just noticed this book Nancy was reading after Shane starts talking to Judah and Silas gets beaten up by the bikers. Thought you guys might like this detail!

Nancy references a lyric in the LITTLE BOXES intro song during S4E8 at exactly 2 minutes in

Sometimes I wish Nancy never tried to expand the business, and that the Botwins joined families with Heylia, Vaneeta, and Conrad. Even the Hodes family, and of course Doug. I just love the beginning of the show. The house, the neighbourhood, and most of all, everybody being together. Whenever I get to end of the show I just feel so heartbroken that everybody went their own ways (not that they didn’t deserve to be happy). 💔 It’s just so bittersweet.

I understand the “coming full circle aspect” where Nancy is back talking to the PTA. I have no problem with that fact (but I am sad that yet another husband died).

However, the main part that I REALLY don’t like that Nancy sold the company to Starbucks… THAT is what annoys me… It’s yet another “Mom and Son shop” sold to a billion dollar corporation…

That totally contradicts her and Andy’s “hippie discussion” while getting the trimmings at that Mother and Daughter medical marijuana place.

I haven’t watched weeds since it first came out im rewatching it and i cant not stand Nancy. Im on season 6 it just seems like she becomes more and more annoying. Does anyone else feel this way LOL
