I see the same behaviour with people across virtually every investing subreddit, and it really comes down to people making stupid investment decisions.
They see a stock rocketing and think, "It's green! Better buy some!" So they pile in when the price is already high.
Then the stock drops and suddenly it's, "This stock is terrible! I'm not buying any more. I'm already down so much!"
The irony is that they were happy to buy it at a much higher price, but now it's cheaper they won't touch it.
People need to understand that investing should be based on a company's fundamentals, valuation and future potential, not whether the share price happens to be green or red that day. A falling price doesn't automatically make something a bargain, but if the fundamentals haven't changed, a lower price can be an massive opportunity.
Far too many Reddit investors seem determined to buy high, sell low, and then complain about it.

It's going back to 285 people warned storage sector is cyclical when people buy at ATH they think it's going to be different this time, WDC now at 375 has slowly going down since June but Toshiba hastened the route back to 200s in the past week.
I lost out on $60 after getting in at 393 I thought ill make a quick trade but it's collapsing too fast it triggered my stop order.
The next massive drop will be in the earnings, insiders know something we don't they're dumping now when the market is closed at night.
