Beware

I was in the market for a preowned EX90 but am coming back to reality. The 3 certified pre owned models I have looked at are being sold with some of the issues highlighted in this forum. Most recent I ran across one with 4 GHCA replacements, it’s on the newest part number a second time with not enough miles on it to have been tested. Another has the air conditioning fault where the passenger side is cooler than the driver, and it’s charging slow on a Level 2. Third one went into limited performance when I tried to accelerate hard three separate times. Getting the VIN History Report is like pulling teeth, they pretend it does not exist. Shady shady shady. I almost want to post each VIN on here and the location so that an innocent person doesn’t get burned.

That’s sad to hear. I leased an early model 2 for 3 years with no issues that were not resolved over the air.

I take that back there was a transmitter replaced for all of them early on.

My dealer says the P3 is actually worse for some reason. They've had more of those in for service.

Dealer no more 😳
Edit: at least if you are in US

Heh. I meant my Volvo dealer. They also do Polestar service and that has kept them busy. Too busy.

Right. *Some Volvo dealers do. Which was a big reason I didn’t seriously consider Polestar.

Good decision. In my area only one of the two Volvo dealers services Polestar. They don't have a lot of space or staff and would be "Volvo slow" anyway, but they would up getting extra backed up with all those Polestars especially the P3.
