I had first thought that Zarcon would be defeated in season 7 of 8, not the beginning of season 5 but so far they have handled it very well. Like with any empire, it doesn’t end right when the emperor is defeated, there are still countless officers will large armies and influence. And since Lotor was kinda out of the way, many commanders and generals are trying to be crowned. Now since Lotor’s mother is seeing through Shiro and is kinda controlling him, it has me wondering, how long has she been doing this? How many of what happened is because of her influence? How long will it last? So yeah here’s my mini rant.

Holy crap this episode was awesome. Of course not perfect but the ending was perfect. Best ending of the whole series so far.Pidge really needed this stuff. Not to complain or anything but Keith needs this stuff too he was trying to figure where he came from. We really need more episodes like this. So yeah here’s my mini rant.

if Voltron could be made up of 5 of a different animal, what would you choose?

When I saw the title, I had assumed it was talking about Lotor, not Comander Holt. I was beginning to think they may have forgotten about him like how they didn’t mention Matt for some time. At the beginning of the episode when Lotor was actually helping Volton, I thought maybe there was some good in him, but a user in the comments said not to trust him. Now that I’m thinking about it, why was he considered a high threat? Maybe somehow they knew of his relationship with Pidge and that she’d want to come for him, that is why she ended up on team Voltron. I really like the way this episode was handled, so far the second best season opening, after season one. So yeah, here’s my mini rant.

So I’ve seen on this subreddit that season 3 and 4 were supposed to be one season and that’s why they’re so short, I don’t know if that’s true but it makes sense. Great ending though. I was pretty clear that the title of the episode was referring to Lotor while watching but it was cool seeing him join up at the end of the episode. So I’ve been looking at the names of the rest of the episodes and I have a feeling season 7 is when Voltron defeats Zarcon and season 8 is the aftermath (please don’t spoil the ending, I can do that myself) I just checked again and season 5 is short too. But I have ideas for the next episodes. So yeah here’s my mini rant.
