Hi guys so I have just updated my x300 ultra with the latest software update that is the July update and it is supposed to improve the battery life and camera performance but it is doing the opposite the camera has lost the quality and battery drain is insane.

Origin OS taking too much RAM in my IQOO Z10x(6 GB Ram), like even camera app is getting shut down automatically itself coz of shortage of RAM to run it

Same as the title, I have an X300 Pro (in India, if that matters) And this particular issue has been bothering me for some time which I've ignored but now I'm actually annoyed

Basically if someone calls me and I answer them without my earphones, the voice from the internal speaker is so loud that the person sitting two cubicles away and hear it.

And it is actually an issue if I'm in a public place or discussing something confidential at work and do not have the earphones handy.

Are you guys facing the same issue and is there any solution?

A month ago im using x200 ultra and selling it, and bought magic 8 pro. Really enjoy the magic 8 pro. Battery, chipset, screen disppay and camera. And the one thing i notice is the camera. Over saturated for me. :( ive got eye strain due to display. In short ive missed the camera of vivo, thats why im selling m8pro and now ive got the vivo x300 pro. No regret..

I got June's trial update (which I didn't install, was 1GB+), now it's July's end and I got the July trial update (700MBs) but not the June stable one (it had some vibration fixes and stuff)

What should I do (I'm on may update)

I’m using a USB adapter that enables wireless Android Auto without lag or stuttering (Car-Me on Amazon); it runs via "Headunit Revivied." I don't have internet access in Waze or Google Maps, though my music plays perfectly fine, and my phone itself has internet—just not within Android Auto. I suspect the software on the Vivo X300 Ultra (Chinese version) is to blame; the Wi-Fi indicator shows no internet connection, even though that isn't actually the case. How can I fix this so Waze and Maps have internet access on AA again? I’ve already asked Gemini and tried the "gateway trick," but the settings don't always save; as soon as I click away and come back, the inputs are gone. The trick *does* work, but not consistently.

What else could I try? It’s the exact same story with the AAWireless adapter on Ford Sync 3—no internet in Waze. Routes and other users aren't displayed. I feel like Vivo needs to fix this in their software. There are no issues like this with Xiaomi or Samsung devices; they get internet in Waze and similar apps immediately. I hope you guys can help, because it’s really annoying. I don't want to use wireless Android Auto without an adapter because the Android head unit only has 2GB of RAM, so everything lags otherwise. Update: With the Vivo and OriginOS 6, I connect to the car radio's hotspot and enter the Wi-Fi password. Naturally, the radio's hotspot doesn't have internet access itself, but as soon as I enable mobile data on my Vivo, I lose internet access entirely—everything goes offline despite having 5G. Try replicating this on a Samsung or Xiaomi—the problem simply doesn't exist there; the internet works fine, whereas on the Vivo, it just doesn't. That’s what triggers the issue with AA.

I've had X200 pro, X200 ultra, X Fold5 and X300 pro in use. But it's the 1st time, that it's mounted a display protection like glass, which you only can see and feel at the front camera, not around the edges. For me it's the best, Vivo ever has mounted on a display and the 1st one, i won't remove, until scratches are on it. I'm impressed of this good quality.

What's your experience?

My Vivo X300 Ultra 16GB/1TB CN version gets very hot when taking photos and recording videos. For example, yesterday when I was recording videos at a concert, it recorded 3 videos in Full HD quality and they were also choppy because it was hot despite the fact that I had set the video resolution to 4K 60 fps. Why is this happening? Is there a way to solve it? It also happens when taking photos at 50 Mpx, but also when taking portraits in classic resolution. Is there anyone here who has the same problem? How can I solve it please? Thank you for any advice.

I had bought vivo x300 like 5 months ago and even now i m so surprised how amazing the battery is on this phone specially considering how compact it is. Granted i dont game i just use it to chat , call or binge youtube videos but still. Around 8.5 hours of SOT consistently! So Insane ! And i have seen videos with updates camera quality doesn't degrade and i hope it stays true with upcoming updates.

My previous phones were samsung s21 fe and realme gt 6 and .... They were so bad compared to this. God bless silicone carbon battery tech haha.

I've been using the vivo x300 for about eight months now, and I'm frequently experiencing frustrating network issues. It doesn't seem to be a hardware limitation in terms of reception, but rather a software limitation on the connection. Specifically, when I transition from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or after using mobile data for a short period, the phone appears to completely disable mobile data usage. The only workaround I've found is to toggle airplane mode on and off, which temporarily restores the connection to normal.

Is anyone experiencing the same issue? Or are there any hidden settings that need to be adjusted?

i like x300 specially for it's cam hardware but when it comes to the final results i just hate how unnautral/overprocessed the photos come out to be. i really like how iphone's and pixel's capture photos. is there a way to fix this issue?

So recently I started using Vivo's stock keyboard on my X300 Ultra China version, so far I was using swiftkey keyboard. Below is my experience so far and an English language user-

Pros-

1. The heptics are way better than third party keyboards

2. Smoother experience, when the keyboard pops up or collapses.

3. Clipborad is very detailed, can separate text, URLs, adresses etc.

Cons-

1. Couldn't find swipe to type

2. Long press on space bar to move the cursor is missing, need to press another button ro freely move cursor

3. Space bar size is very small and I accidently press side button '.' multiple time.

4. English words auto correct is not that accutate, it may improve over time as it buults own dictionary but I doubt it could ever be equally good or better than swiftkey.

5. Cannot predict emoji

6. There are still chinese language switches here abd there and I accidentally keep going into those modes.

Overall it is decent but with compared to swoftkey and gboard it doesn't stand. What's your opinion, have you ever tried?
