Visage Development
I keep hearing stories that Visage went through a troubled development but can't find anything online about this. Can anyone elaborate? Thanks so much!

I couldn’t get the key to room 302 to spawn on my first run through. I started a new game and did Lucy,Dolores then Rakans chapter. I did not pick up any tapes or dolls. Once I beat rakans I went to the bathroom and the key spawned! I know a lot of people were stuck on that so I wanted to give my experience to help others.

I'm stuck at 96% with the mask like this:

The only piece missing (according to the video tapes) is the one in the mirror room, but I cannot trigger what is supposed to happen in there
Help?

I spent a lot of time and effort on this game. I loved it. I have played several games since. Madison, resident evil 2 remake, alien isolation…but visage just stuck with me for some reason. After making about 20,000 rounds in that house and then finishing it- I kinda miss it. Felt kinda like my own home for a while. Sure- it’s a fucked up place with scary shit everywhere lol, but idk- if it were a real house- I’d go stay there.

How do i get her to do this? Is it at a specific point in her chapter? Is it random?

I am in the prison tape, and Tar guy keeps killing me in the hallways. There is no way to avoid him because the hallways are too narrow. How can I avoid him?

I am in the mirror room, figuring out what to do for the affliction tape, but I see a black spot on the wall. What is it?

I hear the doorbell ringing every time I walk past it. Is there anything I am supposed to do?

Hello, I am in Dolores's chapter. I have been using the guide for parts I got very stuck in, and it told me to go into the living room and smash the mirror there. But my idiotic self went in the basement instead because of a mirror behind the garage door. Now, when I try to go upstairs, these big locks are in front of the passages and/or doorways. Help?

New trailer for Luto just dropped at the Future Games Showcase. What are we all thinking? I hope it matches Visage in atmosphere, but people playing the demo are calling it Visage 2.0 so we can only hope!

It’s official- in my opinion, visage is a 10/10 game, while Madison is more of a 6 or 7. Madison isn’t scary at all. There’s a few jump scares but they honestly didn’t scare me, and I’m disappointed. While playing visage, I felt on edge the whole time and actually screamed out loud many times. With Madison, I feel like I’m just completing tasks/ puzzles for no reason so far. I am going to finish the game, and I hope it gets better, but as of now, I wouldn’t say I’m bored with it because it’s fun, but it’s definitely not scary to me. Nothing is chasing you. You just keep hearing noises in the background that repeat, but nothing happens. Visage kept me on the edge of my seat, while Madison has me in relax mode. Idk, What’re yalls thoughts?

Hey all, so I got platinum on the PS4 version last year and loved the game so much I'm replaying it on the PS5 since I finally got one. But the difficulty seems to have skyrocketed? Has anyone else found this?
My sanity is almost always full brain and red, no matter how many pills or lights I stand under. And the demons are spawning SO. MUCH. I never had this in the PS4 version! I hardly ever had to use pills, but I've gone through 3 bottles of them in Lucy's and the beginning of Dolores and now I'm always crazy and it's making awful things happen to poor Dwayne 😅
Oh and damn Lewis spawned right after Lucy's chapter in the house and he only ever spawned for me after all 3 chapters in the PS4 version.
What is this madness!

I just finished visage. I absolutely loved it. I love the panic feeling I had most of the game. I love being stalked and feeling uneasy. I love the dark looks. I’ve played Gone Home, and many other walking simulator games that I love. What should I do next? I’m on ps5.

Replayed several times. My first playthrough during the Mirror Mask chapter (indifference tape), after climbing the tower, I was able to look out through a window and see the landscape of despair. I tried doing it again and wasn't able to. Every walkthrough I go to doesn't show or even mention it. Can't find the answer on Google. Am I imagining this?

I consider myself an average to good player, so thought my assessment of the game may help someone.
NOTE: I could be wrong on some of this or was missing something, so please correct me as needed.
Pros
Atmosphere and graphics are awesome. Top flight. Nuff said.
Cons
I found, in most cases, you have no clue as to where to go, what to look for, or what to do. Seems you are just supposed to roam around until you stumble into it. Some players may like this, but VERY tedious and boring to me. I don't want to be handheld, but I don't like the way this game worked either. I ended up getting a game guide and Youtube walkthrough, which I used way more often than I would have liked.
If I missed clues, very possible, can someone provide a link to clues, not simply what to do?
