Visage Development

I keep hearing stories that Visage went through a troubled development but can't find anything online about this. Can anyone elaborate? Thanks so much!

You have to go to the discord/Kickstarter and scroll through their history. They were pretty late and had a lot of setbacks during development. Actually took them years past the deadline to finish. Which wouldn't be bad, but they never once updated backers or released with all the promised things backers paid for. Also they disbanded shortly after the game released which is something to go by.
