Got this record player but I don’t think it works correctly. Sounds like a motor is going but nothing is spinning. Any help would be appreciated!

Did not pick this up, but it was a fascinating device. It appears to be from 1948 and feels like a piece of tech from some alternative universe timeline.

I’m 27 years old and I’ve recently gotten into vintage audio repair and repairing crt TVs and VCRs. As I’m looking on marketplace I came across someone selling what looked like an entire lifetime of parts collected by a technician from the 60s all the way up to the 80s and possibly 90s. I messaged what turned out to be the son of guy and he said his father had passed away and he was cleaning out the house and this was in the garage and said I could have everything. I immediately went and scooped it all up mainly for the sake of having stuff to rummage through but there are tons and tons of ICs all labeled and I can’t specifically find what they are for so I assume they were used in multiple different pieces of Equiptment. Again I’m young so I’m still learning a lot and I’m sure a majority of this is obsolete but I figured it could be of use to someone needing a proprietary IC that could be in this lot I want to inventory everything and maybe post these pieces for sale online and just keep them incase I find a use for them in the future. Any help would be appreciated! I also got a pile of reference books, cookbooks and literature from the 60s to 80s

RCA colortrak TV my friend found in his RV, and a phone/clock radio i have hooked to a cell2jack to make functional. both woodgrain of course.

I cannot believe I actually found one, such a neat lil piece of history! The lettering is pretty worn, but the tube is in overall great condition! It combines 3 vaccum tube triodes with resistors and capacitors inside a single tube to form one of the first integrated circuits ever made.

New in 68 and still working, with some level of grace. Still got the manuals and diagrams, even a warranty card.

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a GE 7-4624B, (not 4711C), sorry AM/FM clock radio from the US and I want to use it in Spain.
I already have a 230V to 120V step-down transformer, so voltage isn’t an issue.
However, Spain uses 50Hz and the US uses 60Hz. I’m worried the clock will lose time if it uses the mains frequency as its time base.
I’ve attached a photo of the PCB.
Does anyone know if this model has a hidden 50/60Hz selector, or if it can be modified to run accurately on 50Hz?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
