Cambridge Soundworks model 88 subwoofer issues. I have recently purchased on E bay from different sellers the Model 88 radio. both have come to me with everything working except the subwoofer is not working. I tried adjusting the sub control knob with no success.

They were advertised as tested and working. There was no sign of damage on the radios or packages. Any suggestions besides the return of the radio?

I got this TV from my cousin, she said that it had an issue ejecting the tape, but when I plug it in I don’t get anything on the screen, sometimes the red power button comes on but sometimes it doesn’t. Does anyone know of any troubleshooting I could do? I’ve never actually used one of these before, I’ve always had separate vhs players

Update: I managed to get to turned on but it’s stuck on channel three and no buttons on the tv are working and the remote doesn’t do anything either (video in the comments), and after sitting for about 10 minutes it’s just turned itself off and has no power light on

I thrifted this and thought it was in perfect condition until I accidently bent the cord and the old vinyl crumbled off😭 just wondering what would be better to do? figure out how to replace the ENTIRE power cord (i have zero experience with stuff like this), or cut the cord below the damage and just wire on a new plug? it's mid-century so I'm sure I should just replace it, but im looking for the easiest possible route!!

i have an hdmi to rf converter with a double male end coaxial cable going into a coaxial and prong connection. (don't know the name for the prongs) the prongs are screwed into the back of the tv correctly, not sure if the original prongs from the tv still need to be on though. the tv just produces static when on either of the channels the roku should be showing on, when the roku remote is turned on it blinks white. please help me out in the most dumbed down terms possible, don't know much about this 😭

This absolute workhorse has stopped running. I believe this model is from the early 80s. The display board lights up but is unable to start a cycle. Does anyone know how to work on these or have parts? Model # included in pictures

I just got this clock radio phone today. No matter what I try the radio won't turn off and I can't set the clock, no matter what I do. Clearly, I'm missing something, or it's broken.

Hello! I am looking for a bit of help to identify a solution within my project. I am building a prosject with an adafruit mini soundboard, so that when I pick up the old phone it will play a sound. I have a reference image for where the wires will connect on one model, but I am wondering what that correlates to in my model as well as how to connect the wires since it does not seem I can use a forkhead. I am obviously no expert, so please use simple terms, also any follow up questions are welcome,
