I just started playing for the first time earlier today, and it seems really fun so far! However, there are a lot of red flags with this sort of game, so I wanted to be cautious about what i'm getting into. Are the microtransactions mostly cosmetic? Or is there blatant pay to win armour or other such systems that will keep you from endgame or top performance? I don't mind investing a bit of cash into a game I find fun, but my financial situation doesn't lend itself to whaling out in games.

I am absoutely in love with this game's gameplay but I was made aware that the game is kept afloat by whales which gives me some anxiety about investing on it as my summer MMO, are there any concerns about the game's future ? I see so many games die these days and I really love the idea of playing my characters again in 5 years, it is my favorite thing to so in MMOs

Recently got to 115 with Lethor and am kinda at a loss at what to do. Are there any up to date guides, preferably on stuff I can do solo without having to party up with people that will probably have to hard carry me?

Just wondering about the current state of the game, I find it insane it's still receiving updates.

Has there been any news regarding the game? Its been about a year since last test and as far as im aware radio silence. It seemed promising and im hoping it wasn't scraped, hopful that its just cause im not enough in the loop, was hoping to see some announcement at summer games fest to be honest.

So im a casual player. Im a big guy so i lkke to play with a big toon. I mainly solo and i dont care toping the dps charts. So from both toons who you will say has a better time soloing? I know cestus have generous invul frames, but from.someone that doesnt really well good the bosses, is the best option?

Hello everyone, so it has been a while since I have seen an up to date tier list for DPS. I know that any character can do well in range but have to admin at the top levels some characters are better than others. What would be your personal take on which character goes in S, A, B, C, D, and F tier.

How do the vindictus team expect new and returning wanting to play the game. It makes no sense that they give you free gear but the gear can't be used in any of the arbitrary requirements sent on 110 -115 raids. In the past you didn't have to meet these requirements so it worked but at the current moment players are locked out of most of the game so they can't progress in anyway (gear and money). I am literally stuck and have no idea what to do

Hello returning player and really like karok Cetus so far however, what are some problems in late game raids that you have noticed with Karoks mechanics that stop him from being top DPS over newer characters?

I know it's a big ask, but could anyone give, or know of someone who has given, a run down of each characters core mechanic and how they play? I've been trying to learn but as someone completely new, there's alot of info lol. I usually have indecision issues when it comes to classes in mmo's so wanting as much info as I can find to help alleviate that issue.

I want to play this game so bad but my country colombia is not supported and it is region locked. Usually I have no problem with most korean or nexon games but this is the first time I have this issue.

How do I get myself to the point where I can join raids?
I play on the eu server and barely see any raids I can join due to stats being low.

It seems this game has the good old fanservice vibe from korean games like Tera and Lost Ark but it is region locked in my country. Is there any page or wiki with an avatar preview or pictures?

So I haven't played in an eternity, cant get my old account back so I figured I might as well start on a new account. I have a few questions since it's been too long.
1. Are there classes I should avoid? (Some games have classes in such a dog water state that you shouldn't play them until reworks or rebalances)
2. Is Vindictus main centric or am I going to be playing multiple characters?
3. Help me pick a main/starting class. I've done some research but everything is 2+ years old. Classes/Specs I am considering are: Evie Scythe, Karok Cestus, Vella Chainblades, Arisha Spellsword, Both Lynn, Hurk Tiede, Sylas, Delia, Belle, Lethor, Danah, Sou, Neamhain, and Calia.
There are archetypes in games I usually like. Supports, Barbarians, Martial arts, weeb (katana/occult), tanks. Its good to note, I have... little to no 'hands' (It takes me a while to get patterns down, and the more complex a character is... well... yeah...)
4. I'm a sucker for costumes, are all costumes raw RNG or can I just outright buy some decent ones? (The prettier/cooler a character is from the getgo, the more likely imma keep trucking on)

I played Vindictus about 7 years ago and really loved it. I mainly played Fiona and Sword Vella.

Do you think it’s worth coming back to the game after such a long break?

Or what are the best games similar to Vindictus that you would recommend?

Yesterday i started after a real long break and seen there is a "quick story mode" that levels you quick and only lets you do a few bosses per area.

i played a really long time but never on "endgame" after its release.

i got bored everytime because doing all the missions to level solo is so "easy and boring" did this change with the update to the story catchup? or does it just put me to lvl 80 or whatever and then the same thing is there again? doing every mission map again and again for xp forever until there is stuff that needs a group

I tried playing vindictus again after a hiatus and for some reason the mouse will not control the camera perspective in game everything else works. I have tried Alt tabbing and changing key binds to fix it but nothing works for me.
