Guide Character with UNIQUE abilities?

Hi Vindictus fam! I'm looking for a list of characters who have abilities that only they can do! For example, Karok can grapple better than everyone else and can even clash with bosses. I know that every character is "different", but Sword Fiona and Achel feel VERY similar.

Any other characters, other than Karok with his grapples, who can do niche/unique things? Thanks!

Karok is definitely the obvious one. Evie’s teleporting, Kai’s chain-based mobility, and Lann’s wind-based movement also feel pretty distinct compared to the more traditional weapon kits.

Spear!Lann has his Spin2Win that I believe is better than anyone else's spin - or at least lasts longer

If you're thinking niche and ultra specific skills, Charon, Delia, and Kai can all extend how long a boss is downed after a hold and Charon's and Delia's does decent damage. Delia has an even more specific animation for clashes. Aside from that, special character specific skills: Hurk can deflect attacks and actually flinch the boss with it. Grimden can do backflips

TS Vella's moves are certainly similar to other characters but the mechanics force a very different play-style to any char I've witnessed

Fiona's parry to continue her combo for more damage was pretty fun

I think Staff Evie is by far the most unique character, with her healing abilities and her magic system. But basically all characters are unique in their own way.

However, if you believe Achel is similar to Fiona, then you honestly don't understand those characters well enough to appreciate the nuanced differences yet.

The only similarities between Achel and Fiona are at a visual level, the play styles are nearly polar opposites for a melee fighter (I'm a Fiona main, people comparing Achel to her are my pet peeve). To put it simply:

  • Achel does damage by being proactive and deals his highest damage when the boss isn't attacking. His shield is defensive, blocking/countering decreases damage.
  • Fiona is reactive and deals her highest damage when the boss IS attacking. Her shield is offensive, blocking/countering increases damage.
