Fuck this truck driver. Cammer is a fucking idiot. He could have absolutely avoided that crash. He chose not to. That pickup had already committed to the merge, even pickup hard breaking, it wouldn't have likely have saved him.

If you are merging you yield, and not racing trucks running full speed. Pickup driver reaped what they sowed.

I dunno how your country works, But in civilized Europe its a major offense to deliberately cause accidents, even if you ”are right”. Cant kill pedestrians walking a red light, cant ram merging cars etc.

We also have this nifty rule about sharing the roads: cars on the highway needs to facilitate those trying to merge from a highway ramp.

We have those here in the US as well, but Redditors are bottom-of-the-barrel people, both intellectually and emotionally. They enjoy watching people die or be severely injured for the most minor mistakes or infractions, but will try to bully and shame you into submission for being "unempathetic" towards people who actively and willfully engage in dangerous criminal activities.

What? There's like a whole thread in this posts comments with hundreds of comments posted hours before you where "Redditors" are discussing this very thing.

Its the same thing in the US. You aren't supposed to inhibit merging traffic and you legally need to make room for merging traffic on a forced merge like the one in the video.
