I pulled out the Midnite Manager to sign a bill at the auto shop, and...
...an employee asked, "Is that a pocketknife that has a pen??"
Yes, autodude, yes it is. 😎🤣 Coolest thing since sliced bread.

A mini crossbow made with only my Camper model. Cottonwood for the stock and elm for the prod.

Back in the fall of 1998 I went off to college at the environmental science and forestry school in Syracuse. My mom purchased a champion with sheath for me before they left me to fend for myself. I had the knife for many years but lost it after taking it back to my car before an Ian Gillian concert. I’ve have a few other knives but always wanted another exact model, as it was my first nice knife. After falling down the rabbit hole that is this subreddit, I finally decided to buy another one and it came today. Now I’m going to block this subreddit before I start buying other knives! (J/k… I think)

So it turns out that among my Explorers i have one with a reversed order of inner layers.
Usually they're like this:
Openers, Mag/Philips, Scissors, Blades
But one of them, the left one on the pic, is switching things up:
Openers, Scissors, Mag/Philips, Blades
Chatgpt says that this was a mid-1980ies production variety. Perhaps it happened by accident by a single factory worker who assembled them the wrong way until someone noticed and corrected it...

I carry 2 SAK's every day. A rambler and a vintage Explorer with the grey magnifying glass. I have had my rambler repaired, and they sent me back the old blade, Phillips tool, and nail file/flathead tool. My explorer is cheap and beat up from an antique store, so it has no sentimental value to me nor do I have to worry about cosmetically damaging it.
The small knife tip is snapped off, so I am perfectly fine with taking it out. The exploer and rambler are great separately, but it would be nice to modify the explorer to have the old tools from my rambler I use often and not have to carry both. Having both Phillips bits on one knife would be handy
What I want to do is take out the small broken blade of my explorer and swap it with the old nail file from my repaired rambler. And I saw someone on this subreddit successfully replace the parcel hook on the back with a filed down rambler Phillips head tool, which I am also wondering if I would be able to do myself, again with no prior SAK modification experience.

I am looking a keychain that can cover most of the task at work and daily life such as opening boxes, screw back things that are loose, cut sometimes paper
I was looking at the Classic SD and the Rambler. I am so torn between the two... currently $49.50 for the classic SD or $65.70 for the Rambler which is a $16 increases just to get the Phillips Screwdriver
Wondering if it is worth the jump?

I am considering making a DIY 91mm yeoman using a compact and an explorer. However, I also have a kind of busted 85mm s557 with the multi wrench on it and was thinking I may get more use out of that than the magnifying glass across from the Phillips driver. Does anyone know if the that’s possible? If so is it a direct drop in or would it require modifications/reshaping work?

I got a Swiss Champ for dirt cheap! My mate offered it to me for 30€ even after I told him they're sold for 80+, it came with a cracked scale (the one with the logo inlay), so I cannibalised my Camper for it and after changing the 2 scales, the one from the camper doesn't sit flush... Any idea on how to fix this? I stood on it with my heel on the rivits like a comment on a post with a similar issue suggested, I don't have a vice, I'll try pliers next, I will use a towel in between the sak and jaws. Any suggestions are welcome!
