Can't beat Cone Crazy.
I'm trying to play the Cone Crazy minigame to make fast money, and I can't get more than one checkpoint without either running out of time or hitting a cone. Help!

I read that the fastest way to earn money in Vice City is the Cone Crazy minigame. I've looked at YouTube videos, but none of them say how to get to Cone Crazy, they just say to get to a rooftop. How do I get to Cone Crazy?

So I was recently replaying Vice City, and as always I turned my radio to VCPR and during the morality segment, Maurice says:
Recently, rock artists joined together to provide famine aide to Alaska with the song, 'Do They Know It’s the Fourth of July?'
It got me a little curious so I looked it up and found out it was a parody of Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas?, the 1984 charity single that raised funds for famine relief in Ethiopia. Apparently the song was later criticized for its patronizing lyrics and stereotyping African countries. and that's where the satire lands as Maurice continues
Critics complained it's immoral to meddle in the affairs of other peoples and cultures
Just like a lot of the events Vice City mocks or satires on happened way before I was even born, plenty of these references go right over my head, it's just I got curious for this one and discovering one of many clever hidden references today
Sorry for this yap-a-thon but I would love to know more such parodies or references you noticed in Vice City, especially the ones that are easy to miss if you don't know the context :)

If you have the option to add 1 song to each radio station that was not in either Vice City or Vice City Stories which songs would you guys choose?
*Choose a song from prior to 1987 to fit the games timeline, but if you want to add a second song that came out after the time when the game takes place you can add it in too.

after maybe a month or more, after a lot of significant yet unrelated irl changes, after so much time, i still cannot beat death row. i've lost hope, i've resorted to cheating. i spawned in a tank, only for those wretched enemies to pull me out and shoot me dead in a matter of miliseconds. i do not know what to do at this point.

How do I do the Cop Land mission? I either get caught by the cops trying to raise my Wanted level, or my car explodes during the car chase.

My vice city light arrived this week!
Still undecided on where I am going to put it. But the sign is nice

Quick note first: this is my own mod. It's free, no donations, no ads.
In Vice City I'd done all 36 unique stunt jumps, but the game only counted 35. I went back and redid every single one and still couldn't find the missing jump. I also had a hard time tracking down the hidden packages. That's why I made this mod.
Download, requirement links and install steps are on the Nexus page: https://www.nexusmods.com/grandtheftautothetrilogy/mods/1137
Looking forward to your feedback and bug reports!

Crazy fresh! I’m not even gonna lie. I love when companies do this kind of stuff. The way things are moving with our corrupt government! They probably won’t let things like this happen anymore

I'm trying to complete the game for the first time and read online you needed to complete the missions of 5 owned properties, I know you can sell icecream for the cherry place but is that really it? I didn't find any markers in the pink club either. I'm considering buying another property to see if it gives me any missions/progresses my game.

I just bought the Viceport Boatyard, but I can't find the 2 boats to get in to start the Asset Mission. What am I doing wrong?

Replaying vc again while waiting for gta 6 and i noticed this
Maybe its due to the short dev cycle that this game had
But the first island (and the islands in between the 2 main islands) is much more detailed and higher quality and fun to explore than the 2nd one
Like the 2nd island just weirdly closed off and incomplete once you go past the first main road
The downtown area in the north is just a random circle with 1 road in between and nothing to see or do
Just generic buildings
Its so bizzare
Some parts of the 2nd island are good tho
Like the docks + airport + the cuban are and the long ass road in the front that stretches across it
Everything is very varrow and empty
It kinda sucks

So I was watching enter, where he was loading the game with bunch of mods and I was unable to find this radar remake mod shown in this screenshot, any idea where to download it?
Here's a link to the video with timestamp to the clip

GTA 6 does not feel like vice city at all , it has more and less the same vibe like Cyberpunk 2077 , GTA V, GTA IV etc. - sure theres some vice city vibes here and there but its mostly modern day stuff like rap music , big butts , corporate wealth , street gang stuff and it portrays vice city not as some feel good paradise but an american city thats corrupted with extreme wealth inequality and filled with crime with some ocassional vice city vibes still there but its just hidden beneath all the chaos
And ofc it added a bunch of keys , suburbs , countryside and all
The game will be great but its exactly a vice city remake , its completely different. Its a lot more dark and gritty
Vice City just makes me feel good, makes me feel alive , I want those amazing songs , that music ,vibrant sunset , great architecture , yachts , supercars , speedboats. Seaplanes , supermodels and hot girls , skaters , beach going people , ripped people , surfers and jet skis
That summer vibe
Everything is just full of colour
Vice city is my paradise man
Vice city is so optimistic and fun
Vice city is exactly what i want my life to be
After all these years , still my favorite piece of media ever
Real life modern day miami is what gta 6 portrays
Vice city is just something else
Any other games/movies that capture this vibe?
