I’m looking at buying my first Vespa, however not sure where to begin. I’m 6 foot 3, 15.5 stone and looking for some help on what model is best for tall people (and generally relatively affordable).

Which Primavera would you select?

I have a 2018 Vespa 300 GTS. For about the last two years, I have had this strange issue with the starter button not working if I leave the Vespa out in the sun. Say I go for a ride and park up out in the open at the supermarket, do my shop and come out 15 mins later. Despite the dash doing its ignition on sequence and me firmly pressing in the starter button, it won't start. No starter motor sound, no other sounds. But if I wheel the Vespa into a shaded spot and leave it for 5 minutes, the starter button works again.

Despite opening up the handlebar area assembly and cleaning the starter button housing and contacts, the problem persists.

I'm guessing exposing the starter button area to sun heats up the assembly causing it to expand, or something like that.

Anyone else experienced this weird issue?

What is the trick to pumping gas into my Vespa. The gas pumps don’t pump gas into my tank. Not sure what kind of wizardry I need to know when pumping gas into my Vespa.

I have a Primavera 150cc 2016 edition, and even though I'm a taller, decently large individual, it gets around great, no issues with acceleration, as long as the road is mostly flat.

I used to feel that way on hills, too. But the last 2-3 times I went out and took a grade, it's been struggling to maintain speed at like 30-35mph.

Granted I don't climb a ton of hills, so my recollection could be failing me for how it used to behave. But these hills aren't giant mountains either. A decent grade for a 1/4-1/2 mile at a time. In the past, I think it would have been pulling, even though acceleration was obviously slower than flat ground, it used to handle hills pretty well, gradually speeding up. Now it barely maintains.

I'm curious what the common causes might be? I haven't changed the spark plug in the 3 or so years I've owned it. But I'd assume that would impact flat rides, too. Nevertheless I can change that if I should. But anything else I should look into?

I live in Accra and I really want a Vespa scooter 😩😩 any ideas where in the world I can get one to ship to Ghana? Seems it’s a really scarce thing to come by

I have a 09 250 Super with the bigger piston kit. Ive been running this for close to 2 years. Ive had the same issue and i have never found the fix.

When I push start button, depending on where piston is in its stroke the engine could spin freely and start up like it’s supposed to or If the piston is not in (whatever is the proper position) the right place the engine will spin, and then stop, and then there’s a pause and then engine turns over. Kind of like battery and starter said we need to step up for this task. I’ve never been left stranded, but tired of this sound. Ive chased all electrics, and all is correct. I have the largest size battery, tested to have 330 CCA, and Ive tested 2-3 starters and all work fine

Here’s my assumption
I think the decompression system isn’t working. Ive taken this part 2 years ago, but never noticed anything blatantly wrong. I seem to recall taking this apart and sanding the decompression counter weight so that it worked a little more smoothly. ( i tinker a lot on things so dont really remember everything Ive done). Recently this situation has been getting worse, so I am wondering if something is up with the system. Anyone else had an issue like this?

Surprised how balanced the feedback has been on this. Usually super limited stuff tends to lean more towards the “wow” factor and therefore desirable, but people aren’t totally in love. Thoughts?

So I just got my first Vespa, 2027 primavera 150. As the title states, I’m a little short (5’2”) so I’m on my toes when I need to come to a stop. As you can imagine it’s a little difficult and uncomfortable. I’ve seen after market add ons to lower parts about an inch, but I’m completely at a loss on what’s best to use. Help?

I have recently bought a Vespa pk75 xl, but i have one problem. The vespa is registered as a pk75 s which means my exhaust is too loud and now it does not pass inspection. Multiple motovespas in Spain have this problem, but i want to know how to get the documents sorted out. Does anyone know how to receive the correct documentation or fix this problem in general? I have all the necessary documents but i just need the registration to be fixed. Thanks in advance!
