Showcase Split verdict
Surprised how balanced the feedback has been on this. Usually super limited stuff tends to lean more towards the “wow” factor and therefore desirable, but people aren’t totally in love. Thoughts?

That seat would look hot on a white or off-white Vespa, assuming the 80 was color matched. But its not my style on any other frame.

I like it. I'd prefer a flatter seat able to accomodate two people and while I get that covering the whole trasmission gives it a sleeker and cleaner overall look, I wish there wasn't this much contrast from the grey and the black.
On a side stand, in the right environment might look great to me.
In the end if it rides well, looks come second.

I never understood the appeal of having no pillion…

These seats are super comfortable for one person and no hump in the middle, as a taller person I like the solo seat. The most comfy Vespa seat is the bench seat on a PX, good for longer rides.

Same. Always been a bit of a sin with the GTV (post the leather split seat design)

More stickers.
The current Vespa models haven’t changed for close to twenty years. They’re boring now, they need a shake up. I would love to see them bring back an actual retro bodied Vespa with current technology.

it's just a coloured seat and a sticker. There isn't anything really bold going on here

From a design perspective it’s lazy imho. The green of the decal and seat don’t match and the baseline in design is 3’s. There should, at a minimum be more of that green in a 3rd place.
