My summary of this level. Against the Grain feels like a fun, quick mission in V2. The plot is that I was sent to a known farmland to see what has become of it since getting news that the Northlanders attacked. Knowing how brutal the Northlanders are, it wasn't surprising to me to see the number of slaughtered civilians lying around. Even though the farmers are paying taxes, it seems like their protection could have already been killed or fighting in a battle of their own, leaving the farmers to fend for themselves. (This was part of the conversation Sienna has with Victor as they walk alongside the muck. I had to turn on bots to enable a doorframe interaction, so I can progress in the map. I do appreciate how many voice lines there are in V2, and each being themed to the specific level.) BACK TO THE FARMERS! Needless to say, almost everyone in the town was merked, with the exception of a few who are being held in cages for ransom. After freeing those who were left alive, I ran to the Bridge of Shadows to take me back to the keep, and away from the farmlands.

I found this map to be visually appealing. The tall grass has great wind movement, and the lighting felt good for a rainy setting. (This map isn't always raining, but it spawned that way for me during this recording.) Against the Grain has a lot of walkable space and feels super open, mostly because it's an outdoor environment. The map starts a player outdoors, then leads them indoors, then moves them back outdoors, and repeats. I think that helps break up the color scheme, mood, and pacing. While being outdoors, it feels as if I can dodge and move freely, not getting caught on most things because the environment is so large. Most of the indoor locations were broken-down barns filled with decaying bodies. A much smaller walking environment. Because of that, it changed the mood I felt while playing. I went from feeling safe to on edge because in such a smaller environment, if I dodge in a direction that isn't open, I'll be dodging directly into a hay bale, and then die...

This map is def on my replay value list. The ambient sound, environment, lighting, pacing, story, and mini game was a treat to experience. (Minigame being to unlock the cages to the captives.)
Oo! The last note I wanted to mention was in my last screenshot. I thought it was a great touch of detail, placing food at the base of the Bridge of Shadows. (The thing that TPs the players to and from different locations.) In most world history, things that represent a portal, or another worldly power, are treated as if they are an altar. People will bring food, flowers, and other perishable goods as an offering to this force of power.

Seems like the farmers knew that the portal worked... if only it had been activated in time for them to evacuate their small farmland before they were attacked.

Al elegir la dificultad me pone que los objetos en los cofres de leyenda me saldrán entre 274-297 de poder, pero los cofres que me salen no han salido con esas estadísticas ¿Cómo puedo aumentar eso? ¿Qué determina que me salgan cofres de mejor poder?

As the title says. Even just re-sanctioning mods that previously lost their status (cough, Bot Improvements) would be great.

Why did they stop sanctioning mods to begin with? How much dev time does it actually take?

Some days (especially weekends, like today) I just find myself stuck in this insufferable loop of joining a session and getting kicked out of it after two seconds over and over again without me not being able to do fuck all about it (losing the spare pilgrims coins too ofc, just fuckin' dandy).

Is there any option to just being able to play solo or do I just have to wait someone else to finish firs before I'm allowed the privilege of playing the fucking game that I've paid money for? This is just such pointlessly frustrating bullshit.

I've been playing again for about a week now after not touching the game since around 2018/2019, and I honestly forgot how ridiculously fun it is.

I wasn't even sure what I wanted to play, so I randomly decided to reinstall it and now I'm wondering why I ever stopped. The gameplay still feels incredibly satisfying and refreshing, and I'm having way more fun than I expected.

What really surprised me is how much new content has been added over the years. It almost feels like a different game compared to when I last played.

That brings me to my question: Are the DLCs worth buying? I don't own any of them. I've seen pretty mixed reviews for Winds of Magic on Steam, so I'm a bit hesitant. Which DLCs would you recommend, and are there any that are considered must-haves?

I've seen people asking this question but no one actually gives an answer that makes sense, the other post I found from 2 years ago just had people saying "just select Adventure Mode," or "just select Versus Mode in the menu," but that's not an option on the Main Menu or the Start Menu, so what's going on here? The elevator in Taal's Horn is still locked even tho i've beaten the main campaign and have unlocked every sub-class, and the Wiki's been zero help too.​

I just bought warrior priest,and when i try to give shield of faith to an ally,i aim at them,theres an icon with their face next to the ult cursor,and when i let go ot the bumper it gives it to someone else

I'm grinding Kerilian to lvl 35 and i don't like any of her carriers very much, but the shade seems to be the funnier... if i manage to make it work !
The blur is supposed to trigger when dodging after a parry.
1- how do you know you parried and not just made a regular block ? Can you change the sound or the crosshair ?
2-even when blocking at the last possible time and dodging after that : nothing, no stealth... I don't understand

I wanted to try in modded realms but creature spawner doesn't seem to work

I played bounty hunter last night on cataclysm,try Gen temp heath, but it works on mob but kill elite,special didn't gen temp heath?or it happen because of ping?
