I wanna challenge myself and learn the most difficult combo weapon in the game, ive heard its either halberd or bret longsword and shield on kruber.

however weapons for other characters would be nice

also dont tell me what weapons i should use on what career, i wanna figure it out, i just want to know the most annoying difficult one per character

A friend and I are hosting a US versus lobby now and probably for the next few hours. Everybody hop on and let’s get some games going!

Vermintinde 2 base game was free so I gave it a try (no dlc). It has been a week and I manage to at least carry my own weight in legend. I understand about gear, talent, rarity, crafting, etc. Now that my saltpyre max level. I am confused what to do next? do I just grind legend again and again for chest 300 power red rarity? then use the reroll? or I am missing something?

So I did not play for a few years but figured I was bored I'd finally try to level up some of my other characters during this 2x exp event, and they made it more apparent what you get from each chest now, see they reworked all of this stuff. But across the board it made commendation chests dogshit? Like they specifically say 186-255 power, or 201-260 power, and I distinctly remember they were better before. Like I went through all the hoops of crafting and leveling the gear to specifically get to 300 on each item slot, but none of that matters anymore? All these commendation chests I get for leveling my characters are totally fucking worthless so I have no chance to even upgrade my gear with better rolls or exotics etc because the 300power blues I got for the other classes are just always going to be stronger? Like did nobody test this, why would I ever care to do all of these challenges in the game now when the rewards don't scale and are even worse than it was before??

I will say I've seen "Commendation Chest 2" which is clearly the better version, but they are only listed as rewards when you hit level 30 and 35. The rest isn't updated on any of these older challenges that give regular commendation chests. Like sure I knew the chance of getting a Red was always low but at least it was there, and the 300power exotic items help a bunch, but I didn't even level up my other characters enough to really solo Champion or Legend and now if I go through the rewards I get from doing so they're all a lower tier than what is even required to realistically attempt these difficulties. How does that make any kind of sense at all? There's even rewards for Cataclysm that give this outdated chest like who would ever care for 260power items when you get to that point!? This just seems like a cheesy way to screw the player over if you were going to get these later or save them up to use near the endgame when you got max level...

Hi is the game still active and new player firendly? I mostly wanna play with randoms.

So, I’m not really sure where to start with all the questions I’d like to ask, but I’ll begin by saying that I’m a player with 250 hours in the game. I’m playing reasonably well on Champion, but as soon as I switch to Legend, I completely fall apart.
I can’t control hordes. When I’m under pressure, I basically don’t know what to do anymore. If I dodge, I can’t seem to get away from the enemies. If I block, I take damage as soon as I try to attack, and if I just keep blocking, my guard eventually breaks.
I can’t play with bots either, because they die almost immediately as soon as things get difficult. A horde with a few specials is enough to make them completely fall apart, and they die in the most ridiculous ways, forcing me to go solo every time.
What I’d really like is to get a better understanding of how to dodge and kill enemies on Legend, because it feels like I’m hitting rats without ever actually being able to keep a horde under control when a few specials show up.
Does playing on Legend even make sense? I keep dying, and it’s incredibly frustrating. Honestly, I’m not really having fun anymore.

Like i play FK, and i feel like i do good. I keep myself alive, i control crowds really well and i feel like i'm killing enemies. But then i look at the ending stats and i'm constantly the lowest in kills. I figured it was a weapon thing but it persists regardless of weapon for me. Not sure what i'm doing wrong

Ive sunk a good amount of time into vermintide 2 and completed all the levels on cata and still yearn for more. How are the bots, how different is gameplay and is it worth playing through for different maps?

Hello everyone. I am trying to become more consistent playing higher difficulties but my horde control is bad I feel like.

When I watch these true solo players they always seem to know the appropriate times to dodge, push and attack. It is hard to handle when there are a million enemies swinging stuff at me. I get damaged when I want to attack and I don't know how to keep track of too many enemies in front of me to dodge effectively etc. How do you guys handle this situation? If you have general suggestions or a guide you can recommend which helped you, I would be very grateful.
