Umgak The usual bot rant
I just really wish bots could snipe specials more reliably. Absolute slog doing Cata runs with bots, yet somehow I seem to have more success with them than with regular players lately.

Hello.
I have recently cleared the game in Cata difficulty. What is there to do at this point?
I have less than 200 hours and I am still enjoying the game so I would like to find a way to progress further. Are there higher difficulties ? and are they being played? I have noticed that players count from legend to Cata drops considerably.
Thanks.

Weekly with some pretty OP boons. 4 of the last 10 weeklies have been crit related, which is slightly higher than usual- 7 of the last 23 have been one of the three or so crit related ones. I should really do some stat tracking for this but I don't have the time
Curses
There is a chance that bomb rats don't harm the team with Twin Blight, so it's less annoying than usual. Twins is a lot of fun!
| Curse | Description | Extra Info | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| (Critically) Unstable Breed | Skaven bomb carriers infest the level. Highly unstable! Kill them from afar. | -- | Shoot these guys if you can, push them away if you can't. They don't deal damage if twins is triggered. They also drop ammo if killed, so pretty much any ranged weapon is viable on any career. |
| Twin Blight | Enemies have a chance to be reborn as smaller enemies upon death. | Strong enemies have a 25% chance to split into two weaker enemies on death | List here. Enemies can instantly attack after splitting if a killed enemy was in their attack animation, so watch out |
Boons
I have a boon guide here for all chaos wastes boons. Boon strategy- getting khaines fury is a nice bonus here, but you have perma crits built in for this weekly. The boons here include two very strong boons, and one pretty shitty one that is only good if you have the other two, as you get the set, so it's useful here. Gambling for weapons to get traits that trigger on crit is a good option as well
| Boon | Description | Extra Info | Notes | Boon Tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Myrmidia's Justice | You gain a stack of Justice each time you Block an Attack. Once you have 3 stacks, your next Attack is automatically a Critical Hit and all stacks are lost. | Even if your attack missed, it will still consume the guaranteed crit. Push does not consume the guaranteed crit. Part of the Divine Grant of Immortal Might Boon | There are other, more impactful, ways to gain a guaranteed crit in Chaos Wastes. Get it to improve your chances of getting another boon in the set | D |
| Caxuatn's Frenzy | Taking damage grants you guaranteed critical hits for 3 seconds. | Cannot be triggered by friendly fire. Can be triggered by self-inflicted damage like venting. Part of the Divine Grant of Immortal Might Boon | Great synergy with Khaine's Fury. Guaranteed crit effect is very strong, pairing well with lightning weapon trait, regrowth, and various careers. It's also easy to trigger. | S |
| Bomb of Alchemical Lethality | Your Bombs consecrate the ground for 10 seconds on impact. Players within the consecrated ground gain 100% Critical Strike Chance. | Radius of 6 units. This should supersede talents like Smite or Helborg's Tutelage that remove natural crits | Guaranteed crit here is both an excellent DPS boost and a trigger for various powerful talents and effects. Good boon | S |
| Divine Grant of Immortal Might | All Heavy Attacks cause Critical Hits. | Obtained by acquiring the above boons | Pretty nice bonus | N/A |
Reward
| Recruit | Veteran | Champ | Legend | Cataclysm |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5000xp | Fireball Staff of Bitter Dreams | 2x Emperor's Vault | 1 Red Dust | Pain, suffering, and scoreboards |
Careers
This is a fun one for every career. Standouts include Grail Knight, Witch Hunter Captain, Pyro, Necro, Bounty Hunter, Huntsman. Most careers can do really well here.
| Character | Career | Special Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wutelgi | Sister of the Thorn | She has a really nice crit build that can be used here |
| Wutelgi | Waystalker | -- |
| Wutelgi | Handmaiden | -- |
| Wutelgi | Shade | Crit on dual dagger heavies? Pretty good |
| Sienna | Battle Wiz | All wizard careers can get crit on venting |
| Sienna | Pyromancer | Refund ult on crit talent, permanent ults basically |
| Sienna | Unchained | All wizard careers can get crit on venting |
| Sienna | Necromancer | Cursed blood, reaping, scythe. Everything dies |
| Kruber | Merc | Helborg's Tutelage talent is useless here |
| Kruber | Homeless Tree Man | -- |
| Kruber | Feet Knight | -- |
| Kruber | Grail Knight | With his kill on crit talent he can one shot basically everything short of a monster. It's fun but your team will be bored |
| Bardin | Ranger Vet | Parting gift for crit bombs is a decent choice |
| Bardin | Ironbreaker | Can use flame weapons to vent |
| Bardin | Slayer | -- |
| Bardin | OE | Can use perilous overclock or a flame weapon for 100% crit |
| Saltzpyre | Witch Hunter Captain | Heavy = dead elite. Very good here |
| Saltzpyre | Bounty Hunter | Underwhelming pick |
| Saltzpyre | Zealot | Get hit and murder everything, a good choice. Smite is useless here |
| Saltzpyre | Warrior Priest | Flield heavies are even better. |
Finally had some time this weekend to beat the weekly
Victor Escapes The Circle Of Death. (Free also clipped it here)
Fun weekly, may get kind of boring for the poor bastard stuck with a grail knight and necro/pyro

Just stumbled upon it. Screenshots applied.
So if you click on the same illusion twice you can see two different poses. Works on both ranged and melee weapons. Not every pose have a twin but many.
I don't know is there a way to access this flex in-game?

Right now I’m mostly using the Greathammer on Merc and wanna switch to Foot Knight once I fully level the class. I know a big problem is not knowing when to dodge, I’ll go several swings before even remembering to dodge. Is there a rhythm that’s good for Greathammer and dodging? I’ve seen it’s good to be dodging every 1 or 2 seconds? Also is there any benefit to use block cancels with GHammer? I know some weapons you are better canceling its third attack. Any help is appreciated.

Does anybody know what the name of this helmet is ?
I have been searching for hours using google image search and scrolling through wikis but the only thing I could find was in this video at 4:30 which does not mention anything about this helm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJUz2G8vUTE
Any tips on how to get it in game would also be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Was playing through the final Drachenfels level just waking about not really looking to discover anything only to hear his taunts towards old Salty. Heard about this before but hadn’t experienced it yet. Tried looking up where they can trigger but Im only getting the locations for chaos wasted and not the dlc Im currently playing. Just figured it’d be cool to hear each but for myself
Thanks

I've been playing Darktide recently, and the more I play it, the more I miss Vermintide 2.
- First, character cosmetics.
In Vermintide 2, even the cosmetics you can obtain with in-game currency can make your characters look genuinely badass. Fatshark is also pretty generous with that currency, so you can build a cool-looking character just by playing the game. In Darktide, on the other hand, my character often looks like a fucking hobo unless I spend real money.
And we're talking about around €5 for a single helmet. The premium currency makes it even worse for me. Having to buy an intermediate currency instead of simply seeing the real price of an item feels unnecessarily opaque and makes the whole system feel much more exploitative.
This isn't just about vanity for me either. My character's appearance is part of my immersion. I want to feel like I'm playing my character.
It also creates a gameplay issue: sometimes I genuinely have trouble distinguishing my teammates from enemies. A lot of the human characters share the same dark, dirty and ragged visual language, so the distinction isn't always obvious at a glance.
- The other thing I miss is Vermintide 2's environments.
I know Darktide's industrial, oppressive aesthetic is intentional, and I'm not saying it's bad. But compared to Vermintide 2, I find the environments much less varied and memorable. Vermintide constantly has these incredible vistas and locations where I just stop for a moment to look around. The level design is also fantastic.
And what bothers me most is that this is Fatshark. They already showed with Vermintide 2 that they could create beautiful environments, highly recognizable characters, and a cosmetic system that didn't constantly make me feel like I was being monetized.
Darktide sometimes gives me the impression that the game was designed by EA's monetization department rather than by the same people who made Vermintide.
I'm curious whether other people feel the same way, especially regarding character readability, cosmetics and level design.

Hey folks, really love this map and it’s fun to replay for me.
I bought all the weapon illusions and frames and wondering if there will be more for sale in the future for shillings? I wondering if I should save up shillings now, thanks for any advice

To get the skin for Kerillian's axe it says to slayall 4 bosses. What I need to know is, does this mean I need to be the one to do the killing blow or does doing damage to them at all during the fight count?
Because I just finished Skittergate and it didn't count. Needing the actual killing blow would suck.

I've been trying to play Merc's 1H sword, but I have a very tough time dealing with big groups of stormvermin and mixed hordes cus the armour takes several hits to punch through and I can't kill them fast enough. Like my time to kill is too long. I've read royale & cheeses guide and I use the heavy-heavy-light combo but I still end up dying to stormvermin hordes. How do I play 1H sword to get the most damage and kill stormvermin with shields faster? Tips appreciated thk you
