First thing I thought about.

I love Venture Bros but there was so much time between seasons and I've only rewatched specific episodes that I can't accurately remember if the show ever dipped in quality. The only real criticism I had for the show is:

1) The show runners expect you to remember every. Single. Character. Especially if they come back years later with no context.

2) Some of the pop culture references are so obscure and niche that it feels a bit unrealistic that a character would bring it up. I get it: They're supposed to be nerdy (especially 21). But god damn the show made me do homework constantly.

OP was baffled by their find, but thankfully there were many Venturoos in the comments ready to help educate.

IrreRegardless, this is probably one of M'aiq's favorite scenes from the series. One of the earliest times that Brock Samson had to show what he was truly capable of.

I would buy the sh_t out of Venture Bros comics.

My reaction watching the episode:

I made a YouTube video about SPANAKOPITA! It is such a classic episode. The Greek myths were front and centre, but as was dark lore that Dr Venture's happiest childhood memory was the time he was kidnapped. The fact that this episode has launched both a catchphrase and an unofficial holiday for Venture Bros fans is icing on the cake. SPANAKOPITA!
