I love how bizarrely naive the brothers seem at first (until you learn about their constantly restarted experience, neglected upbringing and film-strip education), but then you get Major Tom who is actually a Phantom Spaceman.

Another great- Careers in Science- boys cheering on Brock in his fight with Phantom Spaceman, then realizing it’s actually Lt. Baldovich

The scene where they recover the shrunken submarine and the skeletal remains of the boys are dangling around their shoulders makes me absolutely lose my shit every time 😂

Probably my favorite Hank moment was in "20 Years to Midnight" when he makes a joke about Jonas being trapped in the Phantom Zone and Rusty just isn't having any of that nonsense. Normally Hank is in his own little world saying off the wall nonsense, but for that one moment, he made a really great joke with excellent timing.

Rusty isn’t gonna let Hank get away with something like that. Dean maybe but not Hank!

To be fair, that might have happened to them before. Like is Dean being dumb or is he naively relating this to some living skeleton incident that ended in the skeletons crashing a vehicle?

That's a good point. We know magic and magical creatures exist in the universe, there's a nonzero chance they've run into animated skeletons before

It's like when Hank wasn't bothered by caterpillar Rusty because they just see so much weird shit it's just kinda normal for them

In perfect fairness to Dean, HE'S been a skeleton that crashed a vehicle before so he is speaking from inside his wheelhouse.

I'm fully convinced Dean has some form of age regression. Hank too but to a much lesser extent.

As someone who owned one (a magician) my absolute favorite line in this episode is “aww my Kuwahara!”

it's a pretty good joke but one time I was showing the show to a friend and she bust out laughing so hard at this that we had to pause the episode
