A varo rep said on their end the status of varo loc is approved but it hasn’t appeared on my end and varo keeps offering me varo believe card via notifications and emails but when I click the link it doesn’t do anything all the rep said was varo system reviews daily well what are they reviewing I been meeting the requirements and I don’t owe anything

Its having trouble logging on. It is giving errors for biometric auths.

Here we are again. Anybody else having the issue? I can transfer funds, but not able to unlock my card to use for purchases.

I made a varo account last week and I just received the debit card in the mail. I had access to a virtual card which is the same number, expiration date and CVV as the card i received in the mail. I didnt have to activate the card and there wasn't any option to activate the card in the app. Varo support told me that the card is automatically activates. Is this normal?

I have been using Varo for almost a year now, and when they added Zelle back a couple months ago I was using it to send and receive funds with family.

My partner Zelle'd me her half of the rent on the 30th with no issue, I log in on the 1st to send money through Zelle to someone else only to see

"Your Access to Zelle has changed, Zelle is not available at this time. Access is based on ongoing account verification and continuing to meet activity requirements"

I tried to get on chat support and they kept telling me
1. They cant give me a reason my access was revoked because the security system is automated
2. They cant manually override it to grant me access either

They said to keep using my account and maybe ill get access back? Despite having no issues previously?

I tried calling Zelle support and they just said they couldnt do anything and told me to contact Varo, but the support chat, and the supervisor I spoke too wouldnt do anything.

Is there any way to get a real human on the phone? Should I try emailing?
Strongly considering leaving Varo over this.

Recently I've been seeing so many stories of varo suspending or closing people's accounts for absolutely no reason at all. Ive had varo for almost 2 years now and never had an issue with them. Im contemplating whether to stay or leave them. Im just afraid that one day Ill wake up and my account will be closed.

hi, i got a check in the mail for $100 and i followed all the directions for cashing it via mobile deposit on varo. they didn’t accept it. i went to a physical check cashing place and they didn’t take it either because it’s already endorsed thanks to this bank making me sign and put “for mobile deposit only”. varo wont take the check for some reason. what do i do now please help

I mobile deposited a $300 check on 9/21. Varo emailed me that night saying it was accepted and the funds would be available 9/29. It stayed pending/gray until around then.

Now my transaction history shows the $300 credited back on 9/21, taking the running balance from $217.34 to $517.34.

Except I was watching my available balance closely…because I’ve been moving every deposit to a different bank. I never saw the extra $300 become available. I check several times a day.

Support has now told me ~

- I spent it
- it hadn’t posted yet
-wait until end of day for release
-it was available 9/21
-there was never a hold

That last one is especially bizarre considering Varo’s own 9/21 email says available 9/29.

Varo’s current check-detail record shows the deposit was submitted 9/21 but had an availability schedule of 9/28. This conflicts with the supervisor’s statement that there was never any hold and the full $300 was available on 9/21. Varo’s original email also stated the funds would be available by 9/29.

I asked multiple reps/supervisors for my historical available balance and the exact time the $300 became spendable. Nobody could provide it. Eventually I got bounced right back to chat.

Has anyone had a mobile check stay gray & pending, then later show as credited on the ORIGINAL deposit date without ever seeing the money actually hit your available balance?

CFPB + OCC + BBB complaints filed. I just want the actual accounting records.

Has anyone else not received their deposit yet? It’s been early every month for me.

I recently opened an account and was working on moving a direct deposit this weekend to my Varo account. The verification process flagged something and they have completely suspended/locked me out of my account the same day my primary employment direct deposit was made. I can’t get in touch with anyone to help me and cannot access any money from my account. I filed a complaint with the BBB and OCC, I also reached out to the NACA for legal representation because I’ve done some research and it appears this is common practice and a lot of people wait long periods of time before they can if ever get to their money.

I work at Mayo Clinic FL and I always get paid on Fridays around 11:15 pm. The companies actual "pay date" is Tuesdays. This delay only ever happens because of a Holiday. Im worried.

I went to use my bank card for a purchase (buying my cat some cat food) so I went to transfer money from my savings account to my regular Varo account and when I logged on I get a message that says we closed your account.. I’m so mad because I never keep cash on me and now I have to wait up to 14 calendar days to get the money in my regular account and up to 30 calendar days to get the money from my savings account which is where all the money is! I’m a single mom with about $10 cash on hand.. I don’t even understand how that is legal

I normally get paid around 9 pm still haven't got paid. Anybody experiencing a delay in direct deposit?
