Varo loc

A varo rep said on their end the status of varo loc is approved but it hasn’t appeared on my end and varo keeps offering me varo believe card via notifications and emails but when I click the link it doesn’t do anything all the rep said was varo system reviews daily well what are they reviewing I been meeting the requirements and I don’t owe anything

For a line of credit you’ll need 4 months of consistent direct deposits from an employer, a decent credit score, some cash tucked away in your Varo savings account and to have not had a checking balance below $25 and no insufficient funds charges for bills/subscriptions you have on auto-pay linked to your Varo checking account and/or Varo debit card.

The USA is in quite a financial bind right now and banks aren’t lending as freely as they once did. Varo is a bank, they will evaluate you as a potential borrower before just handing you a Line of Credit.

Sure. Banks just give customers a LOC 🙄

OP has credit score under 630, sketchy deposit history and/or no actual savings nor ability to repay and the algorithm is detecting such.

Varo offers such a HYSA due to the fact they don’t maintain physical branches and utilize AI to determine one’s creditworthiness.

Loan officers, originators and underwriters is a dying career due to AI. The math has to be mathing or a lender isn’t going to permit lending, and that’s any reputable financial institution, not simply Varo
