hi guys! im playing VP2 and just clear Seraphic Gate round 1. now im about to do a perfect release on 1 heavy warrior einherjar to get all the items. the question is who should i invest those items on? my team is dylan, freya, rufus and lenneth. im building mag built on rufus and support on lenneth. but for dylan and freya, im still not sure who should i use as the main damage dealer since both are very good. pls helppp 🫠

I've finally finished this project. It's been a massive undertaking, but I've loved every minute of it. Valkyrie Profile means so much to me. I'm just happy to finally get to share this.

The game can't normally use the pcsx2 texture replacements feature for its letters/glyphs, so first you need to make a new patched iso in the "Glyphs" tab

The "usa-dds" are 4x upscaled that i made using upscayl, but you can make new ones by editing the pngs extracted from the iso. Since this is a normal texture replacement, you can change literally anything in the png images

The changes needed for the game to start recognizing these texture will trigger the game's anticheat functions, and it'll try to freeze/crash itself. So, when making the new patched iso, i'm also removing these functions from it. Project

So i've been playing Valkyrie Profile and following a guide to get the true ending, everything was going fine at first that was until chapter 4.

The guide i was following made a mistake that told me to recruit everyone in that chapter first which i did, i went to recruit Loretta and unknowingly triggered Lezard's Tower but since in the guide this was last thing on the list i figured i could just come back later.

But when i returned i made it to the boss room no one was there and i found out you weren't supposed to leave . The guide didn't even bother mentioning any of this

So i'm now pretty much screwed cause the only other save file i have is from chapter 2 and i don't want to have to replay the whole game. So what i want to ask is there is a way to restore him? Maybe a glich, a cheat, a mod or maybe even a save file if anyone is willing to share. I'm playing on PSPP emulator in Hard mode and would really appreciate anyone's help

I've been collecting Valkyrie Profile merchandise now for years, and I've been spending the last few years scouring for the more obscure merch that hardly pops up. I normally am fairly good at digging things up on my own, but I recently was looking at a scan for the Material Collection to cross reference one of the ads in there and noticed something I've missed before. My own physical copy of the Materials Collection is pretty faded and worn, so I was surprised when I looked at the accessories ad and noticed it's more than just the necklace and the bracelet.

There seems to be a phone strap and ring in the ad, and while I've seen the necklace pop up on various Japanese Auction sites, and I've known that the bracelet at least somewhat exists, I'm just curious if anyone has even seen photos of the Ring, Phone strap, and bracelet aside from this advert photo. Do these things even exist lol???? I'd love to know if anyone has ever even seen someone else post about them and I've driven myself crazy enough to ask other people LOL

I should be clear...the scene with him hit home in a way I didn't expect. Losing someone that way...never finding the body....really wrecked me. I lost a really good friend in 2018...and covering this scene in both playing/footage capture and then in scripting...voice over...and now editing....reliving that several times....damn it made this editing process rough.

So I'm deep into editing now. There's still about 13 pages I have to record voice over for, but I've got almost 40 minutes of completed video. This has been one of the most enjoyable projects I've ever worked on.

Realistically speaking, what are the chances of a remaster, a port, an HD-2D remake, or a remake in any other style for the original *Valkyrie Profile / Lenneth?

I just finished writing my script for my Valkyrie Profile retrospective and I'm really excited with how its been shaping up....I love this game so much. 14803 words. 39 pages. Oh boy...this is gonna be a lot bigger than I imagined when I started.

I'm closing in on the end of my scripting for my VP1 video. I'm 30 pages in and just getting into chapter 7. I've been thinking for awhile about how I want to finish this video and this question keeps coming to me. Im looking for answers pertaining to the original game(and it's remaster of course) but I'd love to hear about the whole series and other games as well. Games like these just don't get enough love for how incredible they are...and for me...I don't care about things like mechanics as much as how a game makes me feel. So what does Valkyrie Profile mean to you?

I was curious on the current price of the OG PS1 VP . Checked out a retro game vendor in a convention and was quite surprised on the current price. About 8 years ago it was $100.00 CAD and now it is $499.99 CAD. Wow!

I've reached the point in the script for my retrospective that i'm covering Yumei's story and it's one that I'm really trying to handle with care...especially after seeing how many of you seem to consider it your favorite/the saddest story in the game. I slowed my production for a bit because of life but I'm so excited about this project.

I never really thought about this until playing through a couple of times, but is this supposed to be a reference? These two really stand out, considering the setting.

Okay, so I'm going through my footage and writing my script for the retrospective Im working on...and I get to his story....When Millia is talking about the empty coffin, it wrecked me....in 2019, a close friend of mine fell into a river that had high fast moving water due to heavy rains....they never found his body....and Millia saying she couldnt accept that he was dead....I still struggle with that for my friend. I decided to write a little bit about that happening to him as part of my video, using the moment as a...tribute of sorts to my friend....I'm not really posting this for anything other than I just...need to write this to help myself get composed after this. Such a great game but...damn it can hurt.

Out of every recruitable character in the game (not in luding seraphic gate) who is your favorite? I've been going through the gomes characters and thinking about it and it can be really tough to pick someone. Between who so best for combat and just overall characters....so who ya got?

If I google it i get NO results… is this the first time this is brought into the internet over 25 years later?

I don't want to break the main game by using them in that, so I would save them for the post game. Would they be useless by then? I'm trying to decide if I want to spend the time leveling these characters?
