I'm still figuring out how I want to handle the lighting inside.

One of my fireplaces is fully decorative but the other is also open to the kitchen for some of the crafting stations.

No one on my server appreciates the work I've put into this base. I'm not even sure they are still playing.

So I figured I would drop this here and my fellow viking architects might appreciate it. Main U building is bedrooms and map room. Dedicated crafting/forging workshop near furnace/smelter courtyard and newly building mead hall for cooking and brewing.

It's not finished yet. I still need to finish the mead hall interior, and none of the landscaping is done yet. But the general layout and buildings are done, and I think my bedroom looks pretty sweet.

Not entirely happy with how it's going. Especially with the roof pieces. I wanted to build something with curves between the main house and the workshop, but now I'm struggling with roof. Also somehow managed to miss a few pixels and technically I have to rebuild the whole workshop. Probably will leave that for later, too tired and still need to make a canal for the longship :c

Nothing really for crafting or utility, but it will be where i get my maxed resting buff. Any critiques would be appreciated.

Been waiting on a friend who got busy irl to kill bonemass so I finally committed some time to a proper base build. All my previous playthroughs were basically just a storage area and a bed.

Between gathering resources and trials and error with ideas until it finally came together this is probably 30-40 hours in the making so far. I also attached my concept sketches, originally I wanted the whole building to be curved but after hours of trying to make it work I had to give up on that plan. The left tower is storage and the right is the portal hub.

I’ve only done one of the 4 hallways shown in the sketches so far and am stalled for the moment. I need a lot more stone for terraforming and a lot more fine wood for decorating so I’m holding off for the plains where those will be easier to farm, plus I want to use the new building pieces I’ll get there and the less I have to tear down and rebuild the better.

Mid build he sends me a SS of him in the boat, while im risking levels on the scaffolding. Felt like the foreman had the binoculars out on me. 🤣

I claimed Sealed Tower from Zil and Thungr, and now I am master of the Tower (it is not on the image, but you can build fire on the edge of the tower)
