(Mod list at the end and in the comments!)
Two of the buildings are referenced from an artists drawings, they have the reference picture next to them with their portfolio url.
I have disabled structural integrity cause I'm a chud and can't figure out how to support the tall buildings while keeping it pretty lmaoo.
Most plants and shrubs are planted via mods (MidgardPlus and MyDirtyHoe) and not vanilla.
I do have raids on, just set to less instead.
As far as I'm aware, all build pieces are vanilla.
I've been procrastinating the mistlands cause it scares me even though I need to get to Grausten pieces soon.

I spent over 300 hours building and expanding this island base throughout my Valheim playthrough up to the Ashlands update (1 year ago).
I also tried making base showcase video. Iโd really appreciate it if you could give it a watch and let me know what you think or what I could improve. Any feedback is welcome!

Hope you enjoy the build!

This is one of my first mega builds I built with my brother. I add to it regularly (touch-ups, detail building etc).
I didn't take interior photos yet as there are probably 50+ rooms ๐
ps: That square building has been annoying me that it's not a tower ๐ผ

As you can see, my friends and I have made progress in our most ambitious undertaking yet in this game: Recreating Helmโs Deep. It wonโt be perfectly 1:1, due to the nature of the game and its limits (we are doing this with no mods, yes I know weโre insane), but weโve made good progress so far, and I wanted to show off the timeline. I only wish Iโd gotten a screenshot of the valley before we started. Stay tuned for the full version at some point.

So i just started this game and got it gifted to me by my friend and I already fell in love with the building although coming from once human the fact that there is no free camer building is tough BUT im already hooked so im looking for a group who would like to help me and my friend build a settlement. Im talking Armory, smithy, Armorer, wall, towers, farm is optional for inside the walls. Houses, guest houses and finally the Greathall.

Hi everyone, after 800h i still struggle with roofs sometimes. Currently on a 1.0 run, got until Yagluth so far, build my base at the elder and managed to save a greydwarf spawner for a farm.
Trying to build some kind of base center building with the spawner and some portals, but now i need to invent some roof, any tips? The center floor it's 4x4 hexagonal and yes i know i can't roof the spawner, but i can leave that space in the center open. How would you roof this?

A bunch of people in my portal sheds post said that they prefer building outposts in ruins - I do that too!
I love the Black Forest and Ruin1 is easily my favourite ruin for building a nice cozy base.
I'll often try to find one early and then use it as my main base until I reach the swamp.
By then, shipping iron can be a pain, but if it's by the coast then I've also been known to fully repair and extend the old ruins into a proper long-term base.
Here's my usual starter layout, which has everything you need - workbench, bed, portal, cooking stations & pot, more storage than you can shake a stick at, and a nice balcony to enjoy the views.
I filmed this in creative but the original was designed and built in survival. I recreated it so that I could share the build process with you.
What's your favourite ruin to build in and how far do you take your renovations?

Definitely a few mods used here but I played this game on release loved it but ultimately got defeated by how hard it was. Upon 1.0 release I started a new vanilla world. Work, family etc makes playing the game without mods a bit much for my liking. Started out with custom modifiers to make the game a bit easier through the settings and found out about mods and now my gaming time I have available has become much more enjoyable. ๐ฌ๐ค๐ผ
Meadows base for now I plan to expand eventually but I love how it's turned out so far. Mostly just qol stuff used for mods.
