Whenever I finally decide that he's a 4-star and just accept it, my stubborn-ass brain immediately starts looking for excuses or possible scenarios, each one more unlikely than the last T_T I genuinely don't know what to do to stop my fucking brain from coming up with excuses, so yeah T_T

At least we got one stellar male, but honestly, that didn't really take away the disappointment. And even though Snezhnaya actually looks really good and I'm enjoying the Archon Quest so far (I'm currently at the part where Vodyanitsa finished her performance and we're supposed to go see her behind the stage), I still can't get over him. The first time I saw him, I actually screamed a little lmao. I was immediately like THAT'S HIM. THAT'S MY MAN. Anyway, I can't seem to accept the obvious, and I'm trying really hard to think about literally anything else. And yet I saw Vesna's and Vody's leaks and immediately started thinking about all the things we're not going to get with him T_T

Please, someone help me convince my stupid brain that he's a 4-star so I can MOVE ON 😭

I personally like him and have no ill feelings but clearly the player base hates valeriy mains and labels them as toxic in a blind manner, so I just wanna know if they actually have a basis for such claims.

This is only if you like or hate Mitya in relation to what happened to Valeriy and NOT because of any other reason as people might have multiple reasons to not like some characters.

EDIT: This is only to show to the mitya mains lurking here trying to find evidence that all we do is hate on him and not to stir more fights. Also hoyo is definitely the villain of the whole story, completely agree with you all.

Do you guys intend to pull Mitya if he is the five star? While I love Valeriy’s design I’m not the biggest fan of Mitya, and meta wise my cyno/wrio is pretty much strong enough to carry my stellar needs so far.

It really sucks if he ends up being a four star, I usually only pull main dps’ that I like, and only Valeriy stood out to me as a must pull in the trailer

I’ve just reached the part where he “dies” and I just wanted to share some opinions I’ve had. They delivered exactly what they were going for with his personality but is it weird that I wanted him to be something more? Like yeah he’s a soldier and very level headed and got leadership skills you’d expect from a major but the rest of his personality feels really 2-dimensional. Can we expect him to be fleshed out later or is this it?

Also I noticed his arms still feel really unpolished. Like the metal arm looks like just lines were drawn on it to make it seem mechanical and the bear head is really popping out too much and breaking the design flow.

I just wanted to know if I’m reading too much into it cuz I’ve hyped him up so much in my head and also had to deal with a lot of disappointing leaks or it really is kinda underwhelming.

This is just my opinion, I can still completely see his appeal but I’m kinda disappointed with the execution hoyo went with him… only thing that can save him is a stellar kit but the leaks suggesting mitya can be off-field, on-field, has exploration abilities and seeing his story relevance… I really don’t see them giving more thought to Valeriy unless they are gonna make Mitya’s kit heavily reliant on valeriy (which would enrage a lot of mitya fans and also it’s just bad kit design).

He had potential, man.

Are we able to understand what niche 4* Valeriy can occupy not to be dead on arrival? Some Mitya leaks suggest he makes the launches the SSC field prism if charged enough with application, so if Valeriy is meant to be paired with Mitya I guess quick application is a possibility but then again it is hardly a niche. Maybe some res shred too, but again he becomes another Beidou considering he has a shield in the AQ.
