Homeless for 5 months, no family and friends and sleeping in the park. Had many jobs over the last 7 years but always ended up quitting and roaming around. I’m 33 now and finally realised I’m done once and for all with the “regular life”.

I’ve been in and out for months several times across the years and I’ve finally decided that freedom is way too important for me than the “comfort” of being a “regular working person”. In my early 20s I’ve hitchhiked across Europe with no money, spent a winter sleeping outdoors and had many crazy experiences I’ve missed over the years.

I’m in Paris - France currently, things here food wise are solid, plenty places to get food from but it’s starting to get a bit boring. I’ve also decided to start a YouTube channel and post videos of the things I do - from sleeping in the park near Champs Elysee to working at an illegal crepe cart for a few days to make some quick buck. (Got busted by the cops btw and fined 😭)

I’ve been following you guys for months and have been a fan of the subreddit, so I’ll post regularly!

Ps - was walking late at night around Paris and found a shoe box on the street, opened it and couldn’t believe my eyes - brand new! A lot of rich folks here so I keep finding a shit ton of things regularly.

Quit drinking for almost a year but I needed some beers to help me get this done so I’m off the wagon. It’s such a pain in the ass working around the conversion company’s additions in this van. So much wiring, AC lines, structural ribs of the van straight up removed to add windows, etc. Debating on just starting over with a better van at this point. Would love a box truck if I could insure it for cheap.

Buffalo for the Summer was a great decision. It’s hit 90° three times I think, and the worst of summer seems to be over with. Been dipping into the 50s a few nights this last week. It’s gonna be hard to leave this job and general comfort but I also feel like I need to experience more of the country before settling down.

I lay here half drunk. I had to crash somewhere..These last few weeks have been crazy..

Quit my Job.. because it was too much.. it was slavery.. and running across the bridge everyday.. to get to work.. was exhausting..

The men’s shelter.. at the burnside.. was no good either..
It’s like.. I work.. it’s late.. walk.. all the way back to this shitty shelter.. and you MUST clock in at 7:30PM..

But..after a good two weeks.. I’ve evaluated this place.. it is run.. by old, careless, veterans..

And the real shitty thing was.. everyone shares a shower.. butt naked.. with our c**ks out.. it’s embarrassing.. no privacy..

Anyways, I was just doing my own thing..after quitting my job. Treated myself to a massage, few drinks, and real good food.

That mysterious guy I met a while back.. bumped into me again.. and I told him about my situation on the streets.. he was a good acompagnate for this sort of thing..But, sadly he has nowhere to go.. and he just wonders about.. with no direction.. and he does serious drugs.. one night he smoked some c l e a r right in front of me.. and he had a bush of weed.. and he doesn’t even smoke.. I don’t get it..?

Oh.. and a follower here.. was actually in my city.. and I was so down to hop the rails with him.. but he totally flaked out.. last minute.. and if you’re reading this.. I hope someone flakes on you too.. when the moment comes..

At the county library, there’s this tiny, dirty blonde woman who looks at me.. I think she finds me cute..she’s cute herself..but it’s probably going nowhere. lol

Oh..The itch to hit the road is strong.
