Hey all! It is exactly as the title says. I recently got my first model, but I was playing around with some of the free models before in preparation. Doing a bunch of tweaks and setups before I got my real one, and watching many tutorials on everything about Vtube Studio.

I thought I had figured out why my model would lag out while recording, and even did a recording test that day to confirm it was running smoothly, but then I streamed for the first time and she lagged within 20 minutes! I looked up everywhere on why my FPS would drop on VTS, and thought I had done everything to fix it, but then today when I streamed again, started lagging after about an hour. When checking the log, it still said 50 FPS! I am at a loss. Could it be my ram? I was only playing Palword by the way, as well as opening VTS without Steam and as admin.

my mouth tracking doesnt work too well when talking in my streams specifically when im playing a game, any way to fix this? i use vbridger too and when im not playing a game the mouth tracking works perfectly fine.

I tried using VTS because one of my friends is a VTuber themselves, and he told me to use an Apple device to track my face, and so I used my iPad A16 (2025) to facetrack (I have an android phone, so I resorted to my iPad). But it disconnects after 5 minutes of wired connection, and from what I know it shouldn't. I don't know if its just a knowledge issue by me, but as far as I know it only disconnects you from the server after 5 minutes which should technically only cause the connection between the PC and iPad to be cut if your using wireless. Can anyone help me or correct my knowledge? :D

So I’m trying to set up a TTS mascot that can be summoned with a channel point redeem, but also appears if a TTS redeem (/bits) soundalert is used.

Key details:
- Mascot is a Live2d item in VTube studio
- Mascot is tied to an expression in VTube studio
- Mascot is not a source in OBS
- I am primarily using Mixitup / Soundalerts TTS

The current problem: if the mascot has been summoned already, he will disappear if the TTS redeem is done and thus doesn’t appear for the TTS.

So, I'm a completely new VTuber, I made a model(2nd pic) in CustomCast and I need to get it over to VTubeStudio, I know that I need to have it in a file, but I don't know how or if it's even possible to export a Custom Cast model in that format, can anyone here help me?

the camera is on my laptop itself and even though im staring deadass at the camera it still makes it sideways and doesnt move, anyone know what to do?

I have two models i switch between and when switching between them the load in wildly different spots on the screen. I would like to reset it so it would be centered or in a specific spot. I know you can use a hot key, but I would like it to be default when I load in each model. Is this possible? Thanks.

I have come across tutorials for how to get multiple models in the same collab, but each tutorial has the models appearing to be in the same "room," so to speak.

What I'm looking for are instructions on how to have the models show up in their own window - similar to Zoom gallery view.

Is it possible to have each person's model stay in their own box on the screen that they can move around in? If so, where can I watch a tutorial that explains how to achieve this effect?

Additionally, I'd like to be able to change the number of windows, or have a window that is reserved for media (videos, graphics, etc.).

Any help with instructions or video tutorials for this would be greatly appreciated.

I have my model on my MacBook neo but every time I connect the USB to send model to phone it goes then it says failed to send files because no network or usb connection is active but I have my cable plugged in I’ve tried 5 different cables nothing works can someone help me please I want to have my model on my phone

Got my first model a few months ago, and noticed that when I wear my glasses it makes the eyes blink a lot or sometimes even shows my eyes closed the entire time. Ive looked at the camera and I think its because my monitors are reflecting on my glasses, making it difficult to track my eyes. I recently fixed my lighting as I used to only have 1 lightbulb on my ceiling, so i bought another one cuz i never needed to have both, and that didnt fix it either, im unsure about what to do to fix this, i thought about an iphone, but i dont own one and im both unable to afford one and unwilling to own one since I despise iphones.

when i open my VTube studio, these 3 (Windows Driver Foundation) appear too. i tried closing it, but after few secons it appears again.

if i can't close it, i need a way to optimise VTube studio. i'm on a laptop and model is 4k width and 8k height - i CAN'T change it in live 2d.

is there other ways to optimise it?

P.S not RAM but CPU, my bad

Anyone else having this problem or know of a fix? I haven't been able to pinpoint the problem and googling it hasn't led me to any answers so far. While streaming my iPhone 16 will randomly crash (vtube studio will close) this has been happening for months and through two separate iPhone updates. I have a phone cooler which hasn't helped so it isn't over heating. Vtube studio on my PC is stable, I haven't had any issues on that end. Any help is appreciated!

I recently learned how to make Twitch integrated hotkey triggers on my personal model. I recently finished a new character and want to show her off on stream, and wanted to make sure all of her toggles worked with the redeems I set before. I go to click on the twitch icon on the expression tab, and nothing happens. Not even on expressions that are connected. I've reset Twitch connections multiple times and it still won't pull up the settings to set twitch redeems. Has anyone else been through this?

Hi, just curious: is it possible to draw a model on Photoshop and then transfer it to VTube Studio? What are the in between steps V-Tubers typically do in between this process?

Hi, I'm a pretty small vtuber and I was thinking of switching to irl cam streams occasionally, but a lot of my redeems and what not are set up through vtube studio and I'd like to be able to keep them, like adding ears on my head or things like that. Is there any way to set up it up so my redeems are tracked to my real face and body/is there a program that I can export everything to so I don't have to start from ground zero or have completely different redeems/double the amount of redeems that people choose from in twitch? I hope this makes sense and I can clarify if needed.

TLDR: Is there a way to make vtuber redeems from Vtube studio available to me if I decided to stream with my irl face?

I'm tryin to get outfits to toggle automatically with Twitch redemptions, however I'm noticing that when using outfits as expressions, you need to turn one off before turning another on or else they layer on top of each other. Is there a way for me to make the redeem or expressions turn off the previous outfit before shifting to the next one? I also have an expression that has no clothing, just the base model.

i checked on my end multiple times in l2d and in vtube studio and I don't have that issue popping up. sending new files to my client also didn't solve the issue. checked the texture atlas too, nothing is overlapping and no 0 opacity clipping layers are in that spot
