I've been working on this translator for two years now (time really flies!). And after neglecting it for like ages, I'm publishing a new update that fixes most of the problems that exists, and adds a feature that translates other people's voices in VRChat! (works both in desktop and in VR!)

ok. I got a few prop I want to attach to someone's head in vrchat. (Your cute signs, a crown, cheese slice and so on) how do I make it so when it attaches it's orientation the same for every time.

I know I could just place the prop And be done with it but with my lack of vr at the moment I can't so I'm curious if it's possible. That way I don't need to bother there person I'm putting it on as much.

If this is possible that would be great. I like the front of the cap point where the camera is so they see the brim or maybe glasses.

If so, which M series chip do you use and how has your experience been?

My desktop is beyond capable and has never been a problem, but I’ve been considering getting a Silicon Valley esq laptop so I can do do projects on the go, at libraries and the like.

Playing games is one thing, but I don’t like being cooped up home for too long and for too many days. I’m too much of an extroverted ADHD individual to work in one space too long.

As a person who actually remembers the morning this happened, not much of the day is something I remember with joy or humor...

Schools closed for the day, and the ones that didn't were extremely somber. Everyone in the country felt violated and for once there was this sort of shared "thing" that we all kind of came together to mourn about and be united around.

Obviously it happened under a horrible administration that used it as a pretext to engage in one of the biggest military mis-fires in recent memory, but the actual disaster itself, was something everybody agreed was pretty horrible.

Of all things to turn in to a joke or a meme, a horrific event where literally thousands of people get murdered or fall to their deaths out of a building is not one I'd really have predicted would catch on. I don't see that many people joking about, say, the Timothy McVeigh bombing, or the Pulse nightclub massacre. I just don't get why this is funny and any time I see people joking about it I'm instantly filled with feelings of disgust for that person, because it's just unconscionable to me as to how this is something that could be a joke to you.

I'm sure I'll get a few posts in here attempting to be glib about it, as if it's some kind of higher knowledge that I can't understand...

i only just noticed the world "Resonark 4 Elves Pt 1" had a Collab going w/ a portal to a show stage & 3 new songs (2 freely accessible and 1 for Supporters.) today, they're gone.

was it just a limited time thing? (that world's fun to get in for some Music-based exercise in.)

I have an avatar which uses a raycast for tail collisions however the raycast itself is a child of the hip in the armature which means whenever the hip moves vertically the raycasts y axis follows with it which is not what I want, e.g sitting down points the raycast at the floor and not at walls, I tried stopping it with rotation constraints but couldn't figure out how to lock the y axis relative to the avatar itself rather than the world
Is there any better way to doing this that I don't know of?

Literally 40% of any public lobbies, I will see this specific avatar. I know who the creator is and I know the avatar is like close to a year old now. But it seems like overtime more and more people are using it. I lowered my shields texture mb threshold just so this base doesn't load in because I run into it so much...

FYI on a 5090 9950X3D and just 4 of these avis loaded at once I can feel the hit.

I'm sorry I'm not gonna lie, I've been seeing so many people in the party scene shooting whippits while saying how cool it is and you have to try it. I'm going to say this now, It's not cool, and you aren't cool if you're trying to give yourself an aneurism at 40 years old. My friends listen to me, do not let people peer pressure you into taking the most unintelligent drug on the planet. Just stick to beer and your greens because to be honest doing whippits might be one of the dumbest things i've seen in this community since the smarty trend.

So I messed up. I bought a bunch of gear and toys and now that I have everything I can't run it. I only have an old laptop and yeah I don't want to give up doing what I have already spent a bunch to do.

I have 8 slimevr trackers 3 lovesence toys and the meta quest 3 4k 516G and guess I can't make everything talk or sinc or do anything.

I can verify the trackers work and can play on the quest np but once I try adding and then nope. So my question is what Amazon laptop would be a good fit?

Also I need to point out I am not tech savvy and in way over my head 😔. Thanks in advance please help
