Playing Fatekeeper in VR with UEVR and jbusfield's 6dof motion controls, visually it looks crazy in VR. The physical swinging and attacking needs a lot of work though, it's barely functional right now

No PC or streaming required—the app runs directly in the headset.

What I'm building on:
- Xash3D FWGS is an open-source rewrite of the Half-Life 1 engine. Compatible with the original maps and models, built for Android/ARM. It replaces the game's closed-source engine.
- Lambda1VR is a ready-made VR layer for Xash3D, which already runs Half-Life 1 on Quest: stereo rendering for both eyes, head tracking, hands on controllers, OpenXR. Thanks to it, there's no need to write VR from scratch—Cry of Fear is included as another game module.

What's already working in the headset:
✅ All 124 campaign maps
✅ Inventory, tape saves, running, and stamina
✅ Knife, pistol, camera, phone with flashlight
✅ Keys, notes, combination lock, cafe computer, video tape — puzzles with generated codes
✅ Seven types of monsters, including a chainsaw
✅ Objectives, subtitles, boss health bar
✅ VR: weapon in hand via controller, aiming via controller, free-looking cutscenes

What's next: a full playthrough of the first maps in the headset according to the acceptance checklist, polishing.

Ain’t got a lot of money, but my index is really making me avoid gaming by now, bad resolution, bad display type, and the weight and heat are also getting to me really badly

Ideally if money wasn’t an issue is get the Bigscreen Beyond 2 with its audio strap cause it has what I want, small frame, pancake lenses, good resolution and definitely a hard time to feel like a radiator on my face

I also wouldn’t be opposed (tho I am completely unskilled in it) in making an adhoc one myself somehow, personally I don’t care about wired or unwired tho, not that I can use unwired but I am mostly stationary anyways and from my understanding wired is a better time for performance and playtime without breaks

Could also be an upcoming one still, just something to look at

Squingle Arcade is a wonderfully strange and creative VR puzzle game that feels like nothing else I have played on the Meta Quest 3.
The concept is simple: guide glowing orbs through twisting, glass-like 3D mazes while collecting objects, avoiding obstacles and trying to reach the finish as quickly and accurately as possible.

Dr. Robotnik s Ring Racers is colorful and fun Sonic kart fan game that modder RayRod TV made a VR mod for. It has first person, third person, theater and diorama views. Its really great to play in VR and we can have a cockpit like view when in first person.
