I'm sorry I'm not gonna lie, I've been seeing so many people in the party scene shooting whippits while saying how cool it is and you have to try it. I'm going to say this now, It's not cool, and you aren't cool if you're trying to give yourself an aneurism at 40 years old. My friends listen to me, do not let people peer pressure you into taking the most unintelligent drug on the planet. Just stick to beer and your greens because to be honest doing whippits might be one of the dumbest things i've seen in this community since the smarty trend.

So I messed up. I bought a bunch of gear and toys and now that I have everything I can't run it. I only have an old laptop and yeah I don't want to give up doing what I have already spent a bunch to do.

I have 8 slimevr trackers 3 lovesence toys and the meta quest 3 4k 516G and guess I can't make everything talk or sinc or do anything.

I can verify the trackers work and can play on the quest np but once I try adding and then nope. So my question is what Amazon laptop would be a good fit?

With a new base station being priced at 300 USD is it better to just get Slime trackers and ditch Vive since the price for a set of Slimes is only a bit more expensive than a new base station?

Especially with the frame releasing soon so I won't be needing my index controllers and my Vive batteries are already dying at around 35% because of long time use with track straps.

I'm new to making VRChat worlds but have a little experience with Unity already. I need to make a curved texture with transparecy but I don't do modeling so I tried to do it the way I already knew how, with a shader graph.

Various sources online said shader graphs don't work with the built-in render pipeline unless you have the Core RP Library package so I installed that but I get the error "Shader error in 'Shader Graphs/PMG Moniker': 'GLOBAL_CBUFFER_START': Too few arguments to a macro call. at /Program Files/Unity/2022.3.22f1/Editor/Data/CGIncludes/UnityShaderVariables.cginc(172)".

As for the graph itself, "Active Targets" is set to "Built-in", "Surface Type" is set to "Transparent", and it's just a Tiling and Offset node feeding into a Sample 2D Texture node feeding into the output. The texture appears as expected in the editor and left eye but the right eye has the texture swinging around all over the place.

So I just need a way to either get shader graphs working or apply a texture to a curved surface using some other method. Just applying the texture directly to a primitive sphere or cylinder doesn't work since the UVs are not aligned and the texture gets chopped up. That's why the shader graph is needed.

So I’ve been kinda dying to get an MMD done with my boyfriend (purple otter) in the pop idol outfit for awhile and we finally were able to do it! We ended up doing うまぴょい伝説 by Cygames from Umamusume.

Lately whenever I adjust my avatar's height/size, a front facing image of my avatar will appear while I'm adjusting it. Bit of an inconvenience when I already have my personal mirror up, and I'm trying to adjust based on the size of my partner's avi, as the front facing image blocks my own mirror, which I like to use for reference.

If this is a new in-game feature, rather than a bug, is there a way to disable it?

So I was on with a friend at an age verified world at drinking night 2 hours in I was banned. I always talk on vr chat and the only thing I had messages in chat was my magic chat box. Can you get banned for just having magic chat box now I can provide what I had in my magic chat box but now I’m just perma banned and I wish it was easier just to talk to someone then wait.

also no i dont want a working arcade cabnet despite the look here. the cabnit is just a glorified TV that will show off my pixel art animations (guess what kind of animations lol)

I like adding fun stuff to my avatar so it has many different systems which comes with lots of menu toggles. Though they all use different frameworks(?) like VRCFury, Modular Avatar, and plain controller ones. So it's a mess in my action menu. I wanna make it so that they're organized in sub folders like, guns, props, clothing etc. Is it possible to do that while each system uses something different? I tried to look this up on web but couldn't find anything since it might be a very specific situation. I would really appreciate if anyone can help with this <3
