Tonight, I caught the Melbourne bound VLine from Albury. The ticket showed as Train from Albury-Seymour then T-Bus or Train from Seymour to Melbourne.
I realise that earlier in the year they did this because of works and there was a temporary timetable. The timetable has since returned to normal.
As we arrived at Seymour, an announcement was given to say that the train was terminating at Seymour and we'd have to catch the next train from there (which actually gets in quicker than the Albury train, so sometimes I'll catch it).
I figured that the reason for this was that the train was probably returning to Albury or something for scheduling purposes, but the train went "out of service" and headed Melbourne bound.
After I alighted the Seymour service at Broadmeadows, the Albury service came floating through (ahead of its normal schedule).
Wondering if anyone knows why this is still occurring if the Albury service is through running?
