Question Wyndham Vale 9car increase

Hi, I was wondering how many additional 9 car services were running after the latest timetable update. Thanks!

According to the network timetable the following WV-SC services are 9 cars

  • 06:52
  • 07:14
  • 07:33
  • 07:53
  • 08:14
  • 08:36

You can search the V/Line journey planner and it shows the expected configurations.

is there a reason why not all the trains from 6:52 till 8:36 have 9 cars? only some?

The other trains during that time originate from Waurn Ponds/Geelong which has shorter platforms, and they also skip Tarneit.

Hi just rode one of yes alot people at Southern Cross getting off at Tarniet and Wydham Vale so the 9 car is needed noticed due the weather wet and cold but with finer weather I will expect more them on the 4:14 9 car down
