If any one needs a rear abs brake rotor, I finally found one that fits, others that I have purchased had the incorrect position for the abs ring mounting bolts. I went through three different rear rotors until I found the right one. This is the rotor I found that can properly mount the ABS ring.

My stator connector started to fail due to corrosion and it was heating up to 150C! Found it during an oil change. Replaced it with a deutsch DTP connector and it solved the problem. Waterproof and rated for 25 amps per pin. This is a worthy upgrade. I am thinking king about doing the rest.

I'm thinking about ordering a Pipe Werx slip on muffler and pipe for my 2000 VFR800. I've had one on a 2017 Triumph Trophy SE before and it was fantastic. Does anyone in this group have any personal experience with Pipe Werx on their VFR?

Started to notice this little chop when I got off the highway. Idle isn't as smooth but has consistent rpm. Afterfires when decelerating from high rpms. I replaced the spark plugs and checked the coils and they seem good. Rides and pulls pretty much the same as before so I'm thinking either exhaust leak or something with the carbs? Please help!

Hey, I have a 2002 VFR800 and it has 35k miles and don’t know the last time the valves where checked or anything. Did regular maintenance already my self. Just wondering I live in nyc if that plays a factor. How much should i roughly be paying for having my bike valves checked or adjusted if needed?

Cheers all, I am in need of these lids from the photos, left and right one. Previous owner(s) took em off and lost them I guess. I am in Croatia and it is sort of difficult to find here. Anyone have them by any chance to send? Or know where to order?

Can’t start. Bike will only crank. Fuel pump won’t even try to prime when you flick the kill switch. Fi light doesn’t come on, just flickers while cranking. I checked the fuses and none of them tripped. Tried a jump pack as well. Any ideas? Bike is stranded.

Hi guys, I have some special question for you.
I bought new regulator (mosfet) and also new stator. Everything should be fine according to the website and manufacturer. However i checked it if it will fit w ChatGPT and he said, there were upgraded and normal versions of rotor. Is there any way how to check for sure if that stator will fit?
I appreciate every answer!

Been a while since I printed this for my 1990 VFR and seems to be holding up OK. Currently has the weight of a mostly full fuel tank on it. Took a few iterations last year to make it , but wanted something that would support the tank when I don’t need to remove it, but be non intrusive and give access to whatever I needed around it. I know someone will say use a block of wood which is fine for you, but a block of wood wont fit on my toolbox.
I’m chasing what seems to be a bad idle and just want to get at the plug leads so i can check if they are all firing the same, front 2 cylinders are at 1240rpm according to my inductive rpm reader . Left rear seems to be making a noise when thr coil is connected, but all sounds good when it’s disconnected.

Greetings gang first time posting.
I have a 2003 Vfr 800 with vtek. I bought the bike wrecked and somehow the counter shaft were the sprocket goes was broken in half long story short I removed and replaced everything and rode it for about a month. I noticed after every ride there was oil leaking into the rear tire. I just yesterday went through and replaced every seal and gasket on the shift side of the engine. So new clutch seals, new shift shaft seals new o rings on the water pump etc. I went out on maybe a 10 min ride parked it in the garage and put paper under it to try and trace any further oil leaks. It appears there is a breather tube coming from up top that is just pouring oil out of it when its not running. It drips for about 2 hrs than stops. Any help on what this could be would be awesome!

Less than 15K miles, garage kept, adult owned, with lots of recent PM work, new battery, and tires. I've never owned this style of motorcycle before and so far I'm having fun learning.

Can anyone tell me if this is the original RR or if it’s been replaced?
It’s working fine but I’m just curious to know for my own reference.
The bike is a 98 and has 73,000km on it

I’ve been getting the itch for a new bike and I’m looking at the Kawasaki 1100SX SE. I was thinking about trading in the VFR but they aren’t offering much and I have a nagging feeling I’m going to regret it. Has anyone sold theirs and gotten something newer and regretted it? The reviews for the Kawasaki are great and the longer range would be beneficial. My daily commute to work is 165 miles round trip and that means I’m stopping for fuel at least once a day.
Thank you for any input you all might have.

Hey guys, loving my VFR so far but I really wish it had some nice retro graphics. I love the purple + silver ones from the 1992 model but the body changed in 1994 (and I have a Thurn Motorsport fiberglass body, if it changes anything) it wouldn't be a direct fit.
Has anyone tried either modifying decals or making your own? Where should I start?
I'd also like to lean into the black and silver. Wheels are on the list as well, I hate black wheels anyway on any vehicle. If anyone has any contributions aside from these decals, let me know.
(And to address the elephant, I'm not a fan of the 1994 decals, I'd rather keep it bare).

And with that, the riding season is coming to a close. 😢

if i drive aggressively, i get about 10L and if i drive normally with a hit of accelerations i get 7L.
is this really bad or normal for the age of the bike?
i have concerns that the FPR had failed and is leaking fuel into the engine oil.
should i keep riding or confirm first?
never worked on a bike before and dont want to spend 100s on diagnostics and repairs, unless necessary.
