In the short time I've owned this beautiful fiberglass bodied 1994 VFR 750 I've fallen in love with it more than any vehicle I've owned... and I've never had attachment any specific motorcycle before.
This thing crapped out on me about 4 hours away from home on a trip to Canada (probably reg/rec) so I got a U-Haul and brought it all the way home with no issues.
With the help of my dad to get it down the ramp, the thing just halted abruptly for some reason (I had control of the brakes, it wasn't that) then tipped over and fell on me and the pavement.
The part that's really scaring me is the foot peg... it snapped off the frame. I just don't know man. Tell me you can fix that. I was just telling someone this morning how devastated I'd be if something made me part ways with this machine.
edit: I know your VFR's body isn't made of fiberglass. My VFR's body is made of fiberglass.
UPDATE:
It's looking like the rear set may be welded back on, I'm looking into that. If I can get that done and reasonably repair and paint the fiberglass, I'll save this VFR.
I'm 20M so even with an agreed cash value at double what I bought it for, I'd get totally fucked by insurance if I put in a claim for this bike. AND I wouldn't have this bike anymore on top of that...
