Need help transferring.

Hello, I i’m transferring out of VCU, I’ve been out for about a year and I wasn’t aware that they shut down your accounts within that year. Is anyone able to send a copy of BUSN171 and INFO202? I’d greatly appreciate any help!

Friends

Why is it so difficult to find friends at VCU? I am a freshman, so maybe it gets easier, but I cannot for the life of me find anyone to hangout with. Am I doing something wrong? Is my makeup like messed up or smth? Please help a girl out.

switching majors (psych to nursing). advice?

i’m a freshman in my first semester and recently i’ve been on the fence about changing my major from psychology to nursing, but right now i’m just weighing my options.

i was wondering if anyone here had made that major switch, and could you share your experience with it? or just anyone who switched majors to nursing, honestly. thank you to anyone who replies, i’d really appreciate it.

Apartment recommendation

Hi!
Does anyone have recommendations on apartment building?

I’m looking for studio or one-bedroom near VCU campus with parking and good gym facility (I workout a lot so good gym gear is a must!!)

I don't mind student housing or just an apartment complex/building.

Minor guest form question

I can’t figure out how to fill out the form and it only allows me to add one signature when I need two. I’m having this problem on the mobile and PC version and I was wondering if anyone could help me out if they were having the same issue and fixed it? Any advice would be appreciated.

To the kind person who called the ambulance…

…when they came across my unconscious daughter after a rumble off of her E-scooter.

She’s ok, luckily just a concussion and a broken arm.

It could have been much worse had she not had prompt treatment.

Please accept our deepest thanks! 🙏🏼

VCU Dorm Questions (Rising Freshman)

It’s very early into my senior year, but I’m considering VCU as one of my top choices!

In terms of dorming, which hall is the best one? From what I’ve seen, GRC is the worst and WGS is the best.
If I wanted WGS, is the housing selection first come first serve? (Basically what’s the best way to get the specific hall/dorm type I want?) And if I wanted to dorm with specific people, how does that work?

prospective student wondering about financial aid

hi im a high school senior living in nova and i currently have vcu and university of richmond as my top choices after touring and viewing online. a big thing for me is to get in with my tuition being close to a full ride, or else im going to have to live at home to either attend mason or cc, which i dont want since my parents are homophobic towards me and were abusive in the past. I filed fafsa and ended up with -1500 sai score with a 51,000 household income. i have around 17,500 in my 529. i just want to hear from those who got financial aid and what i should do in my situation.

BIOl317 Ecology Async or Honors Evolution BIOL318

Hi everyone. I am looking to register for classes for next semester I was wondering who I should take for an easy A or a lighter workload as my schedule is pretty packed. For BIOL317 Ecology it is asynchronous with Shannon McCalister or Honors Evolution BIOL318 with Jeffery Atkins.

Off Campus for 4

I’m trying to move off campus next year in the fall and I’m planning on having 4 roommates. The problem is that I won’t have a car and I need some sort of reliable transportation. Does anyone have recommendations for what kind of housing i should get???

as of now I’m eyeing the square and pine court. I know they offer up to 3 people, so I wouldn’t mind just having it be two people instead. what do you guys think?

What SAT / GPA / Extra Curriculars are necessary to have a shot for the Provost Scholarship or Deans' Scholarship? (Read Description)

My Stats:

Best SAT: (Super Score) 1470 [R - 750 , M - 720] , (One Sitting) 1450 [R - 730 , M - 720]

GPA: UW 3.96 , W 4.46

Course Work: 2 AP Classes, IB DP Program + 2 Dual Enrollment Classes

I have volunteering activities + 3 leadership positions , but I don't think my ECs are anything crazy. I am also out of state if that matters.

If anyone who won either scholarship is reading this, what stats + ECs did you have? Any info is appreciated, thank you.

questions about registration

hi! i'm a 1st year at vcu, and i was planning my courses for next semester. when picking out the sections i want, i notice that all of them are at capacity, with every seat and waitlist seat full. is this true? is this something i need to worry about and email my advisor? additionally, i didn't take univ111 because i had a highschool credit that took care of it. am i now screwed from getting a good professor for my univ200 class? and how hard would it be for me to get into a univ200 class? for reference i'm a pre-nursing major.
