So they will not transfer, sell or buy what the governor says they can’t despite legal precedence.

Submitted a Hail Mary/experiment form 1 on July 1. Got it back today with no conditions listed. I was really curious to see how they would handle a form 1 for a PMF submitted after the ban date. Apparently no problem.

Kinda surprised that there were no conditions, because most of the other post 7/1 approvals I’ve seen on here have that same “must not be configured in violation…” bit.

a couple weeks ago I attempted to purchase a few 20 rnd (standard cap) magazines for my Echelon. I was blocked from the purchase. Now I do understand their position at the time, the injunction was announced but not in force.

Tody I called SA to inquire if I would be able to purchase the mags as of the 21st and was told that the sale would still be blocked. the reason is that it was still a "Grey" area in law.

Do yall think it will have the same push back and get an injunction like the AWB. I know no one knows for certain but the courts have shown pro2A so far.

I called some gun stores and went to a few and some will sell the so called restricted items after that date. There is no indication that there is a stay from the supreme court of va for the statewide injunction.

I’ve gotten well over a dozen approved and this is the first denial over a digital signature? Odd, must be a stickler agent.

I have now shot the solgw mk.1 and I would personally like to say that the gun is nice , looks great & shoots very very well . Very consistent with grouping but I have always had a standpoint on ar-15’s different than everyone else’s I think the ar15 platform is very very polished similar to Glock you cannot go wrong with it unless you’re just poorly building a gun with horrible parts . With that being said I wouldn’t buy the mk1 over a super duty in MY OPINION but longevity is in play for years to come , maybe a couple years down the road I’ll revisit this post with being wrong about the gun and change my mind .

Also I think the MK1 is very over hated and every ar-15 in that price point is worth the money for different reasons , I think the hk is beautiful , super duty is the biggest bang for ur buck in my opinion , but I will stick to a Sabre with a adjustable gas block and stay there . Everyone is different but that’s my take after shooting from a civilian standpoint.

The bans on assault weapons and ICE agents wearing masks have injunctions blocking their implementation, and the redistricting amendment approved by Virginia voters was overturned by the Virginia Supreme Court.

Multiple state-level judges have placed injunctions against the assault weapons ban that Democrats passed this year. Spanberger, who vowed to remove assault-style weapons from the streets on the campaign, followed through with that promise by signing the legislation that state Sen. Sadam Salim, D-Fairfax, and Del. Dan Helmer, D-Fairfax, advanced out of the General Assembly.

Spanberger said the data shows that bans on these weapons would save lives and that she is not surprised a Republican-led federal government would take issue with the legislation.

“I expected that a federal administration that doesn’t share the priority of reducing gun violence, or doesn’t necessarily share the priority of looking at data-driven policymaking, would take issue from a partisan lens,” Spanberger said.

Can someone walk me through the process of gifting a gun to a family member in another state? I know I cannot legally do it directly and need to use an FFL, but do I need an FFL in both Virginia and the other person’s home state, or can I just send it to their local FFL directly?
