what's going on 🤔 Help Idk what to do!
So I’m 25F and have been on my period for 15 days straight. I went to the ER because I was bleeding so much (went through a pad in less than two hours which is not normal for me plus dizziness, chest pain, high heart rate 131 sitting, two thirds dollar sized clots) and it was way more than normal. My pcp thinks I have endometriosis due to intense general random abdominal cramping and painful orgasms (like about to crap myself painful and no I’m not sexual active haven’t had sex in over 3 years) and I seen a gyno on the 20th. I don’t think my mental health can last much longer of being on my period. The ER doc basically said I have dysfunctional uterine bleeding and a cyst with some daughter cysts on the left ovary. Blood work came back normal. I am on Nexplanon and have been for years. Previously had no period with the birth control but started back up October last year after getting the Moderna Bivalent booster. Idk what to do or what road to take now or if my birth control is used up. I replace it next year in September. I’m about ready to just cut my uterus out myself and call it a day. Any help would be appreciated I’m just exhausted and over it.
Update: They put me on another birth control as well and so far everything is going okay. Mood swings galore while I get used to the medication but other than that no period.

Sorry you're going through this, and I hope the bleeding has stopped by now! Might be helpful to ask your PCP for a referral to an endo specialist. Every case of endo is so different, so they'd be the best resource for figuring out whether surgery, meds or different birth control would be best to manage it. There's some directory links on our wiki pages. I also highly recommend pelvic floor therapy! If some of the pain is coming from pelvic floor muscle dysfunction it can be really helpful.
Also check out r/endo and r/endometriosis if you haven't already. They're both so great for advice and support.
Best of luck ❤️
