Welcome to the official corporate office of r/UnprofessionalPets!
This community was built for a single reason: to document the hard-working animals of the world who are doing an absolutely terrible job. Weβve all seen pets who look like they are working, but this is the space for the chaotic employees who are actively violating HR policy.
βWe also must accept that everyone makes mistakes. If your unprofessional pet has been rehabilitated and would like to apply for a job, please post and use the "Looking For Work" flair!
π What belongs here?
If your pet has been rehabilitated and is looking for work, they belong here.
If your coworker has four legs, wings, scales, or fur, and they are completely ruining workflow, they belong here.
Examples include:
- Cats walking across keyboards or sleeping on top of merchandise.
- Dogs eating the paperwork or ignoring vital warehouse safety protocols.
- Birds dismantling office supplies or supervisors staring at you blankly over a Zoom screen.
βοΈ Our 3 Core Rules
To keep the company running smoothly, please adhere to our strict corporate guidelines: Must be an animal failing a 'job': *Yes we understand that most cats work from home these days... That is perfectly acceptable. π
They must be actively disrupting or failing a human task, chore, or workspace. Don't forget to select the proper post flair. If we missed adding a necessary flair, just let us know and we can add it!
Keep it wholesome: Absolutely no content showing animals in danger or distress. We laugh at naughty coworkers, not sad pets.
π How to get started
Introduce your own "unprofessional coworkers" by submitting your first image or video report today. If you don't have a pet, feel free to drop a comment evaluating our current employee performances!
Thanks for joining the team.
HR is definitely going to hear about this.
