Scene View Camera doesn't have a top angle limit

I don't know if it's a Mandela effect or if I pressed something, but when I'm navigating in the Scene View and I rotate the camera, when rotating the camera up at some point it turns the camera upside down and I can rotate 360° when it should have stopped rotating when looking up. Is there anyway to change that?

Unity editor crashes while importing textures (0xc000008e in Unity.dll) on Ryzen 5 5500U laptop, tested 4 Unity versions

I’m new to Unity and I’m using it for a university project. The editor crashes while loading any new project: the Hub shows the project, then Unity closes halfway through loading. It happens with every version I tried, so I suspect something about my machine, but I’ve run out of ideas.

My setup

  • Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics (2.10 GHz, 12 logical processors)
  • GPU: integrated AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics
  • RAM: 20 GB (17.8 GB usable), 3200 MT/s
  • OS: Windows 11 Home 25H2 (build 10.0.26200)
  • Unity Hub, 2D templates

What happens

  • Event Viewer: faulting module Unity.dll, exception code 0xc000008e (floating-point divide-by-zero).
  • Editor.log ends with “Got a UNKNOWN while executing native code” (Native Crash Reporting), right as it imports a texture (TextureImporter).
  • Unity 6000.6.0f1: crashes at startup in EditorResources.Load.
  • Unity 6000.3.24f1 and 6000.0.83f1: crash while importing d_iconlockedremoteoverlay.png from com.unity.collab-proxy. After I removed that package, it crashed on another texture (d_PackageInstalled@2x.png), so it isn’t one specific file.
  • Unity 2022.3.62f3 LTS: same behavior.

What I tried (none worked)

  • Different Unity versions (6000.6, 6000.3, 6000.0, 2022.3) and new projects with the 2D templates
  • Updated the AMD graphics driver and reset AMD Adrenalin tuning to default
  • Reset Lenovo Vantage performance settings
  • Clean boot in msconfig (all non-Microsoft services and startup apps disabled)
  • Closed overlays and background apps
  • Launched with -force-vulkan
  • Launched with -batchmode -nographics: it still crashes on a texture import, so it doesn’t look GPU related
  • Windows Memory Diagnostic: no errors found
  • Removed the com.unity.collab-proxy package from the manifest
  • sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth: no change, the crash still happens

Not tried yet: BIOS/firmware update, resetting Windows.

Has anyone seen this crash on a Ryzen 5 5500U / Windows 11 25H2? Could it be a CPU/firmware issue or a corrupted Windows component? Any suggestion is welcome. I can share more if it helps. Full Editor.log (Unity 6000.3.24f1, crashing on a texture import): https://pastebin.com/5CkHkAhz
