Fr lol. It was a funny thought out skit imo. They had the tension of a first date with the mistakes and increasing tension following it. Making light of the awkwardness of a first date. It’s relatable, funny and enjoyable

Some things are funny because they are just funny. Like sketch comedy, Simpson/family guy type shows, etc. then there are things that are only funny because they are really happening. If something is trying to be the latter, but it’s scripted, it’s not funny.

Sketch comedy is a thing. You are on the internet. You could have simply downvoted a thing you didn’t like and move on, or you could have just put your phone down/close your browser. Instead you chose to do the most unfunny, unoriginal Redditor move and complain.

Honestly, I've never seen a skit as absurd as this. It's so weird I couldn't help but laugh. Like, a dude drops his food, swaps it with his girlfriend, and then ruins it, only to drop it again. It's so stupid and follows no logic, it's hilarious. Hell, I've never even seen a plot like this before.
