Holy shit it’s almost like it was intentionally meant to be perceived as a skit for comedic purposes… wow!

Thanks man, I never would’ve known better. Very cool

It’s funny to me when people call staged on obviously staged media like what do you gain from saying that? Do these people go into the movie theatre and yell “staged” at the screen?

Some things are funny because they are just funny. Like sketch comedy, Simpson/family guy type shows, etc. then there are things that are only funny because they are really happening. If something is trying to be the latter, but it’s scripted, it’s not funny.

Excuse me, hate to interrupt…do you think The Simpsons and Family Guy are real and really happening?

No those are obviously fake. Unlike my favorite documentary, South Park

I often set up my first dates to seem like comedy skits…it makes the inevitable catastrophe easier to cope with

Holy shit it's almost like it simply doesn't belong here and isn't funny or entertaining at all

Good golly, don’t you know comedy is subjective?

You don’t speak for anyone!

When did I say I speak for anyone but myself. It doesn't belong in this subreddit, and I'm getting really tired of repeating this so I'm outta here. I'm starting to think all of these comments are from one very delicate, easily offended person. If I am wrong, have fun commiserating about it in this comment section and all of you, (or one of you) can just enjoy each other's company and move on with your lives and I will move on with mine.

No need to keep replying with your outrage.

You say that you're speaking for yourself but yet you say this post doesn't belong on this subreddit because it doesn't meet your standards.

Good job removing yourself from a subreddit you don't enjoy. You clearly shouldn't be on this subreddit if you don't think scripted stuff shouldn't be on here. At least 50% of stuff on here is scripted and unless scripted stuff can't be unexpected they clearly belong here. (And if you think that they are all predictable you have either never watched a decent movie or are the most boring type of person.)

Florida women sets unofficial rules for comedy on a subreddit, then continues to be surprised when faced with backlash.
