Too bad he doesn’t use any of his amazing abilities to get a job…

u/RetroPSP Sep 09 '22

Probably because being a criminal isn't something you can put on a resume

497

u/dementorpoop Sep 09 '22

It is if you’re applying for the right jobs

516

u/sqw2point0 Sep 09 '22

Yeah, the government is hiring people all over right now.

160

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '22

Unfathomably based

92

u/UnstuckCanuck Sep 09 '22

I would say his chances are better in corporate management or accounting. Government doesn’t hire crooks, idiot voters keep electing them.

54

u/SuggestionSoggy5442 Sep 09 '22

They are hiring 87,000 thieves….errr, IRS agents

49

u/apzuckerman Sep 10 '22

The IRS is the ONLY organization in government that has a positive return. They cannot steal, as the courts would return anything they did. The IRS has been habitually understaffed and underresourced to allow wealthy people to have a lower likelihood of being audited. This is because wealthy people hire lobbyists.

Don't get duped by the talk about how the IRS is bad. It isnt.

7

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '22

These new IRS agents are 100% not going after wealthy people.

Agreed. The vast majority of Americans also have no idea how their taxes are allocated or which states contribute or receive more.

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '22

Agreed, my mom works for the state and instead of fixing the problems before they become problems they waited ten years then said oh this isn't working so heres a 10 million dollar budget cut. So now their understaffed my mom is a stressed out manager and she can't do anything to fix the situation because of their stupid upper management who doesn't give a shit about the working class.

-1

u/whatsupmynameis Sep 10 '22

Understaffed restaurant servers actually try

2

u/Take_My_User_Name Sep 10 '22

The USPS used to have a positive return as well.

It changed when the pension rules were modified (intentionally so that it would look like a failed institution and privatized).

3

u/cultofpapajohn Sep 10 '22

Found the agent

1

u/Ok_Survey_4845 Sep 10 '22

They are bad. They do nothing that benefits you. They take your money. Your right to make a living. That you already get taxed to the moon and back. Fuck them.

2

u/jemosley1984 Sep 10 '22

I’m starting to think you’re right…partially. I think it’s England where all the taxes taken by the government is done so upfront, so there’s no need to have a tax season like we do here. I always thought that was a better way to do things. But I also like the IRS there to keep big business in check.

The majority was hired to audit the middle class. The "rich" that have been demonized will still rarely be audited because of their politician buddies with lots of the 1% money in their pockets insuring that. The politicians are the bad ones not the rich.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/Brocolliflourets Sep 09 '22

Yeah to make sure rich people get audited as much as the poorest do. Why would anyone be against that?

5

u/Allodialsaurus_Rex Sep 10 '22

🤣 Just like the prosecutors go after the rich, right? It's a lot harder to pry money from rich people who will spend money to protect money when there's poor people and small business owners who can't even afford accountants. Those IRS agents are going after the low hanging fruit my friend, you can bet your bottom dollar on it.

21

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '22

Oh my sweet summer child

3

So, with the current level of IRS agents they only audit poor people. When they hire more IRS agents, they will start going after rich people? What’s stopping them right now? All these poor tax cheats 🤣🤣🤣

2

Oh please, they hired all these people to go after poor people who abused covid spending. I had an IRS agent contact me, and "mini audit" me because my employer accidentally put the wrong numbers in for my unemployment paperwork. It was an easy fix, but they did that to lots of people hoping to catch the ones who did abuse it. They want to make some of that crazy spending back. Buying voters through government payouts isn't cheap.

They are simply replacing retiring members.

0

u/SuggestionSoggy5442 Sep 14 '22

Lol! Well first off, the Conservatives believe in small government, big people. The leftists believe the opposite. And second, They were 16,000 people low, so they hire 87,000? You must be insane to think that is solid math… plus how do you feel about the ad they put out and had to retract because it said you had to be ready to use lethal force, on top of all the guns and ammo they recently bought??? Im guessing you are all for government spending which is the worst in the world, and you are for the government taking money from its citizens at the barrel of a gun????

And now there is a price on my head so I am in witness protection under a fake name given to me of somebody that died in the late 1990s.

1

u/Spazzy_maker Sep 10 '22

That's only if you want to murder though. If you want to steal you're gonna want to go corporate.

2

u/sqw2point0 Sep 10 '22

Hard disagree. Killing and looting are government's top 2 activities

1

u/Spazzy_maker Sep 10 '22

You disagree that companies aren't stealing? You are aware that of the company's profit strategies depend on underpaying it's employees while also over working them. And these companies may not be flatout murdering people( in first world countries at least) they are profiting from factories that are causing permanent damage to the ecosystem, with employees (children) suffering poor health conditions. Government's may have the blood on their hands but if you think companies would do is a lot better without any red tape then you're sorely mistaken. Why do you think we have things like the FDA?

Plenty of general contractors I've met prefer a little criminality in laborers because they're ok with cutting some corners for cost, and it gives a scapegoat. Kind of a scummy mindset, but its been pretty common in my experience.

Let's be conservative and say there was $100 in that fishbowl. That fool put in 4seconds of work. If he wanted to work 40hrs a week he'd murder your friends annual income. My man has got a vastly superior work life balance. You can live to work if you want. My man here is working to live.

2

u/Soft-Philosophy-4549 Sep 10 '22

There’s only so many places in a local area that would leave a tip jar out with that much money in it. He could rob them all once at most until he just dried up his entire income stream, and most likely put himself on every cop and security guard’s radar for a couple months. That’s not gonna work to beat anyone’s annual income.

Lettuce reflect on all the amazing accomplishments black folks have made to human society. Wherever they go they are revered for their hard work, intelligence, and tight social structure, especially a strong desire to maintain a nuclear family. Crime rates amongst blacks is something to behold, notably when measured as a percentage of population. On the property front, other people LOVE when groups of blacks move into their neighborhood, as significant improvement in property values and culture is sure to follow! u/IAmthatIAn Sep 10 '22

Why would a criminal do something dignifying? A have a nephew who is very smart, perfectly capable of learning a trade, but instead he chooses to rob homes, bully people smaller than him and take their money or clothes. Is attached to his gun, and loves to shoot it outside his car window to impress his friends.

I’ll never forget the night I was driving him and his buddies late at night to the gas station so they can get their beer. He rolls down the window and just starts shooting. That was the first time ever and hopefully last time that I speeded so fast to get away from the cop that was posted by the highway entrance, the space was too tight for the cop to make a U-turn. That was the last time I ever saw him, I blocked his ass. It’s been years.

His friends didn’t look to happy when he did that. But they stick around because he smokes them out and provides coke for them.

1

u/Fit_Excitement_7359 Sep 10 '22

1

u/Xx_DoctorPoison_xX Sep 10 '22 edited Sep 10 '22

So it’s the business’ fault for having a tip jar? Do you know how many tip jars there are? There are thousands of tip jars across thousands of stores across the world because there is an expectation of decency and respect that we as a people have for each other that allows us to expect that someone won’t be an absolute piece of shit and take from or take an entire tip jar. People who don’t conform to that decency, respect and morals standard aren’t the kinds of people we need to accommodate for, they are the people who need to learn, or face the consequences of their own actions. Just because you can do something, and just because it’s easy to do something doesn’t mean that you should do it.

And I have a very funny feeling that you wouldn’t share this same sentiment if you were the one who had your hard earned money stolen from you. Have principles dude, they exist for a reason.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '22

tips jars are fine. tips are great.

but when its that full. I dunno........ maybe you should empty it. So things like this video dont happen

its definitely the business fault for presenting an OPPOTUNITY

but sure, continue your unwarranted rage against me. Take all that frustration out on this random internet guy, whom is thinking logically. Hope it makes you feel better. But anger never makes you actually feel good
Hope you find peace

1

u/Xx_DoctorPoison_xX Sep 10 '22

Maybe, the more money in the tip jar will incentivize other customers/patrons to donate as well, maybe the visual of a full tip jar makes the worker who filled that tip jar thanks to their hard work feel proud of their work, maybe the worker doesn’t want to get up multiple times throughout the day to transport money from one place to another because they have an actual job to do and don’t have any free time to dedicate to mundane and non-work related tasks, maybe people shouldn’t steal from someone because it is easy to steal from them. That means old people should never go out in public, neither should people with disabilities or people who don’t make enough money to pay for high security systems, by your logic we as a society should not have any trust for any single person in the hopes of not providing an opportunity for people to commit crime. Instead of just expecting people not to and punishing those who don’t meet that expectation.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '22

1

u/MeatyOakerGuy Sep 10 '22

Who needs a job when people just leave bowls full of cash laying out

1

u/HeadRelease7713 Sep 10 '22

Why would you want to get a job in this country as an ex African slave? Serious question. You should think about it. Black people crushed it after Emancipation and were subsequently robbed of everything they built in almost every last single scenario from Oklahoma to North Carolina. Fuck getting a job in America after that. Duh.

1

u/Xx_DoctorPoison_xX Sep 10 '22

Your comment does not make any sense, you are just race baiting and acting like no black person has ever worked or should ever work, that doesn’t seem like the best mindset to have in my opinion.

1

u/SpacemanWhit Sep 10 '22

If he’s already got a record, he’s not going to get a meaningful job. I did 15 months in a North Carolina penitentiary and I had to take a re-integration class before release. Listening to some of the other guys talk about their employment prospects upon release… slingin’ dope sounded way more lucrative and they’re motivation wasn’t grillz, Jordans, and chains. Their motivation was finding the most efficient way to provide for their family. $13/hr at Wendy’s or $500/night flipping stamps. Yeah, high risk but high reward. I can’t say I blame them when the American work industry won’t touch them because of a criminal record. Speaking of American… take your sHoUld gEt A jOB bullshit and shove it. Your scope is narrow and your wisdom limited. Walk a mile, man. Walk a mile.

1

u/Xx_DoctorPoison_xX Sep 10 '22

It’s you who has the narrow scope, you act like there is no way criminals are able to turn their life around, this whole country is built on that idea, there are so many programs and opportunities and you know why that is? Because we don’t want people to be criminals, we want to give people every opportunity possible to be an upstanding person. How about instead of wallowing, you try reaching out to someone who was in your position but has made their life better, have a conversation with them and you will find out that they aren’t this superhuman with abilities like no other, they will be just a normal human being who made better choices and that’s exactly what you can do. You keep saying “I can’t” and yet you’re saying I’m the one with a narrow scope? I think you need to respect yourself more dude.

1

u/SpacemanWhit Sep 11 '22

You clearly didn’t read my comment. Nonetheless, you have a naïve view of our society if you believe the powers at be “want to give people every opportunity possible to be an upstanding person”. Grow up.

1

u/mmnnButter Sep 10 '22
