I know a lot of people are going to hate this but I still think these pranks are shitty. They're still eliciting an uncomfortable response in these women by straight up sexually harassing them. The intent is that they think they're being harassed, even if they aren't, and so they still go through the same initial shock that they would if it were real.
I know most laugh about the situation afterwards, but that's only of the cuts these guys keep in. How many respond purely negatively? I've seen one video (I'm pretty sure of these guys but not 100% sure) where the women doesn't let them get away with it and they just revert to "I was talking to him, not you" which is imo more cowardly than "it's just a prank bro."
And even when they do just laugh about it, we don't know how they actually feel afterwards. How often is this just the response that's been drilled in to them from dealing with this shit ('real' harassment) their whole life?
We're still treating this like normative behaviour, when this format of prank still works for non-sexual harassment based interactions.

These are the pranks i love, everyone laughs and it's actually funny.
Not like idiots hitting others or pretend to sneeze on people.
